Fuck that shit. I've supported Spurs since 1995/96 and have never (repeat: NEVER) seen us finish above Arsenal. It's massive to me, very close to being as good as a trophy. IF we do it (and I still refuse to believe it until it happens), I'll be celebrating like a madman. Not rubbing it in Gooners' faces in a gloat-y way, but I will be more happy than I can describe to you. It means a hell of a lot to me, and a lot of other Spurs fans.

Do underestimate any team in a cup final, because, well its cup final anything can happen and often it does.

Seriously, there is nothing special about finishing above this arsenal side, though it has yet to happen. Were happen this season I will breath a sigh of relief so people dont keep banging on about it. But I'd we win the fa cup than finish above arsenal. I'd rather we finish 4th behind Arsenal than finish 5th ahead of them. It isn't a biggy.

Think I understand what you're saying. You're right, anything can happen in a cup tie, but a solid defence will give you a leg up, and Arse and City don't have that. I honestly don't give a fried f..k about Arsenal, just happy we have a team that can beat anyone with our first XI.

Absolutely NEED Man City to put them out of the FA Cup in the forthcoming semi-final. If we do finish above them this season and both Spurs and Arsenal make it through their respective semi-finals, then you can put your house on Fate deciding that our cruel and unusual punishment for this year will be losing to the Goons in the FA Cup Final. We NEED City to beat them, just to erase any possibility of them having the last laugh.
