Yup. Just like Palacios. All well and good having the highest number of tackles, but what about the post-tackle distribution?? If it ends up back at an opponent's feet, then the tackle is pointless.
did he do that, i don't remember any major passes back to SunderlandAll well and good having the highest number of tackles, but what about the post-tackle distribution?? If it ends up back at an opponent's feet, then the tackle is pointless.

Definitely Plan B after Schneiderlin, but Schneiderlin was an unknown playing in the Championship a couple of seasons back. Maybe Stambouli can save us around 23m quid and do the job for us. The fans at Montpellier loved him to bits by all accounts.
Not only that, but he seems to make quick decisions with the ball - knew where he was going when he got it - some of our players tend to stand on the ball a bit trying to figure out where to go.One thing I noticed when he came on is he made passes with both feet. Something you rarely see these days.

At the same time?!?
Did you not watch the frigging game............of course at the same time. He's a Baldini signing didn't you know?...........
I like the idea of a jumping two footed (side-foot) pass. He must've looked like a penguin.
Benji The Penguin.
The perfect name for a feature on the Official Website ... to go with "Digger's Diary". Ah Simon Davies. What a truly gloriously average player.
