We need to remain patient? I think patience us one thing that Spurs fans have in abundance, what we don't have us trophies and the facts speak for themselves, spend big = win things.
Now that Kane could be out for a while, we only have Janssen as a recognized striker and he has no real Prem experience. Collymore may well be right after all!
I know this has been mentioned a million times before but spend big = win things? mate it doesn't always happen, ask those sorry Leeds fans what spending big did to them because they got themselves close to winning.
not sure if you supported us when we had Scholar at the helm, he never really spent big, but we hit a very rocky road and came close to going down the Leeds route.
to spend big on 1 player would cause so much disharmony, the main XI that got us CL football last season would want their wages brought very close to that super star, so the 80m with a 4yr contract on £200 k a week would suddenly cost us around 3-4m extra a month, not taking into account we have 4k less supporters for all home games at the moment.
if you want a team to buy success, then I'm afraid your following the wrong team, because until the stadium is paid for, and the next mega oil baron comes along we are going to try and win things without risking the clubs finances
