Chaps/chapettes...need a favour...

Any chance that one of you with the correct membership level could have a peek on the OS and see what availability is looking like for the Stoke tickets which go on general sale tomorrow.

Also, what sort of price are we talking? Not overly fussed where I sit, I'll sit on the roof if I have to!

Thanks very much in advance.

Crap! As long as I get 2 next to each other, then I'm happy, got £100 to spend...will that cover it???

Cracking, ta, knew I'd seen something like that somewhere.

I'm buggered if I'm paying more than a ton to watch Stoke park the bus!

Is there anywhere that I really need to avoid sitting at the Lane?

On Harrys knee

Had a feeling after I wrote it that there might be a comment like that coming!

Though I could grab his nuts while I'm there, twist, and whisper quietly in his ear 'play Pav you fucking clown!'

Just an idea

Generally, the best place to be is in Park Lane (obviously lower is better), next best place is the East stand but at the South end of the East Stand. Then the rest of the East Stand, then the North stand, then the West Stand, you'll find that there is little atmosphere in the West stand, but the further south you are in the West stand the nearer you are to the away fans and Park Lane, so at least you can easily see it, hear it and enjoy it!

EDIT: West stand is the most expensive stand, so avoid West stand if possible!

Thanks heaps for that. West Stand seems to have the best availability (due to price and lack of atmosphere I'd imagine) so it looks like I'll be there...beggars can't be choosers! Plus the wife ain't been to a game before and is shitting her pants at the mere thought, so the quieter stand might be an option.

This. Though I've been in the West stand a few times this season and it's not been too bad. Would have rather been in the Park Lane though, truth be told!

Next time I'm going to try to get in the Park Lane, definitely!

If you're a pikey/chav sit in the Park Lane, royalty/VIP go West Stand, armchair managers usually head to the East Stand and the proper fans head for the Paxton

Try again when the away tickets get returned. I picked up 2 tickets for Bolton when they reposted them on Tuesday!

Thanks, I will, but won't that mean sitting in with the away mob?

Can anyone give me some advice please. Just managed to buy two tickets for the Stoke game, one for me, one for my mate. One is in the West stand...row 8, and the other is in the North stand...row 48.

Now as a selfish bastard I'd obviously like the better of the two seats. Any suggestions about which one to go for?

Nope, they usually move the barrier and section off part of the away end. You'll be sat near the away fans but in the home end surrounded by fellow yiddos! Stoke won't sell their whole allocation so id just keep checking for when they get released!

Thanks for the info, it'll be late notice, so accomodation could be an issue, but can't hurt to have a peek.
