Personally, if Adebayor remains persona non grata, I'd be looking at getting Coulthirst back, end his loan if we can, or get him back when it expires in October, and use him in the Europa, he may not be proven at that level yet, but sink or swim time, maybe the vote of confidence and giving him experience will see him rise to the challenge. Rather see one of our own given a shot. Let him have a crack in Europa and Cup games, just to give Kane a break.
Doesn't appear to have scored yet at Wigan, but did ok for us with better players around him in early preseason.

Of course we haven't got someone who can do everything kane does or as well as kane. That's the point, who has a like for like replacement for their key striker? Poch will need to be flexible if we utilise other options . Your argument makes more sense if it is that poch is inflexible, but then Berahino wouldn't help either because he isn't a kane style forward.

Martial or welbeck could offer everything kane does? Have a word with yourself.

I just noticed that Claudio Pizzaro is still a free agent after leaving Bayern. I think he still has one more year of good service left in him.

Got to be the biggest mistake ever made by a Premier League club, how we can be so unprofessional as to go into a season with only one out and out forward, what happens if Kane gets injured for 6 months ? what happens if he has a total loss of form ? all this rubbish about Son and Njee can play there, of course they can but neither of them have played as a lone striker before and it's pretty obvious our results will suffer so badly without Kane or perhaps with him as there is no back up.
All these people who are saying that not buying another striker as no big thing are totally delusional and i look forward to what they have to say if unfortunately the above happens.
Levy has been had over by the WBA chairman and made us the laughing stock of the league, he's also been had over by Ade, so we have one forward and the only over center forward at the club who is the highest earner at the club hasn't even been given a squad number you just couldn't make this shit up, are we a Premier league club or a mickey mouse outfit , anyway i look forward to seeing Daniel on the Muppet show.

I suppose signing someone like Pizzaro or Michu as a free agent would be handy as an emergency backup, but we would likely be better off future planning wise giving,son,njie,chadli,lamela,or our youth a shot, you never know,one of them could end up being a nice surprise as Kane was last year.

Yeah lets buy Saha and Campbell then if harry gets injured we could still play son up front because poch probably wouldn't play them if he didn't want them. (see stambouli last minute signing last season). Then we could pay saha/campbell for doing nothing the same as Ade! brilliant idea.

Also love all the what if's! what if a mad gunman kills our 1st 11 and then what if a bus crash kills our 2nd 11 and what if the world ends because spurs only have 1 striker! (oh wait looking at some of these posts that ones actually happened!)
