Some people have very short memories regarding Berbatov. He refused to play for us on more than one occasion. I would never want him back.

One season wonder will play every game.
Do you ever post anything other than dull depressing tripe and jabs at players and the manager?

I don't even know why you bother watching Spurs if you don't even enjoy it.

I think N'jie is a better option than Son as a second striker, as he usually plays as one of two forwards
However, as Lyon does not play single striker formation like we do, it is not clear whether he can lead the line on his own, and remember his partner was lacazette

I'd agree with this to be honest.

We need to work on Chadli and basically make him a CF now as he's probably most suited to the lone striker role. We should scrape by with him in the cups providing there are no injuries.

Well there's not really any other option. Hard to disagree!

Son and N'jie are small. Chadli only way to replace Kane's height if we don't kiss and make up with Ade

The key thing is that Poch needs to be more flexible in his approach.

He's got 2 options - either

1 Make up with Adebayor or get in a 'free agent striker' such as Berbatov - but recognise that its highly unlikely that any other strikers will be ideal for his favoured 4231 formation, so Poch needs to change the formation to suit the incoming striker (in the case of Adebayor TS made him central to the team - and Adebayor responded with a decent number of goals, so Poch needs to consider if that's an approach he can take too). Other strikers maybe target men only, so Poch will need to ensure goalscoring opportunities are laid on a plate (unlike fir Kane who makes opportunities with his all round play)...so each possible striker, Poch will need to find the best formation to play him in

or

2. Be radical and play 460 in some matches (its a tried and tested solution) - we have enough players to do that, and enough goalscoring AM's to make it work....providing Poch can be flexible.

I am absolutely sure there will be a statement that bigs up Chadli, N'Jie and Son as our striking options. Maybe if Donna Cullen is feeling particularly fruity they'll chuck Lamela in there for sh@ts n' giggles..

Chadli in theory could perform a similar role to Kane. Njie being small presumably wouldn't be seen as an issue though since he's only an inch smaller than Berahino.

Dembele can hold up the ball well and started his career as a striker, so we could play him there as long as we had 2 goalscorers playing wide.

I think we definitely should recall Coulthirst as an option.

He's returned from Wigan, injured. Not sure how long he's out for.
