If his price has come down I can see Harry going for him again. I'm sure a lot of people on here don't want him after mucking us about in the summer but he could be a very good signing for us.

Fabiano allegedly left Rennes because he couldn't stand the cold weather in France. He'd really enjoy playing in the current cold snap.

I want a striker but don't think Fabiano is the answer. Now Forlan is a different matter.

Are we trying to build a football team or a home for the aged/crocked? As much as I like Forlan, getting three strikers above the age of thirty is not clever.

I didn't know that. That's a shame if true as he could be a good fit for us. He was singing our praises in the summer so you never know what might happen - although wasn't he after a new contract at the time?

Forlan would be great but I just can't see it happening.

and if we flog Keano and Bentley we'd have our 100-120k for him

world class goal scorers always cost the most and get the most wages in a team

trim the squad sell deadwood and just spunk the whole budget on Dzeko. It really is that simple we don't need anything else urgently but a top striker.
