I hope he feels like an outsider at United, the way his manager and staff poked fun at him.

I've found him. The answer to our prayers. The number 9 we need to make take us to new levels. Our saviour. Well maybe thats a bit far, but he does look pretty tasty to me.
Leandro Damiao of INTERNACIONAL

The goals/games are wrong.
Just watch this vid (its long) and tell me he doesn't resemble exactly what we need attributes wise for our focal point.

Oh, and just for a bit of pointless skillz, check this out, OLE!

This is bumped from a thread earlier in the season. This guy has just been called into the Brazil squad as cover for Pato.

Given our links with Internacional I hope we're having a look.

"I will have to be at Man City because I have a year left, but it will be an uncomfortable situation for everyone really, if Mancini is still in charge.
"There's nothing I can do. He is the manager. He chooses the squad - and rightly so."
Bellamy added: "You never know whether it could still work out for me there. It all depends who you are working with. That's the key.
"If it was [Jose] Mourinho, you don't see many players who can't work with him or he can't revive. Or Harry Redknapp. Certain managers have that gift."
Bellamy wants in

I think the difficulty that Dzeko has found in settling in proves that a huge signing in the Jan window is not the answer to all.

If we spend wisely in the summer, a big if, and hopefully get that player in during the pre-season we can work out a plan of attack for the coming year.

Berbatov with Kun playing off his shoulder would be interesting.

I agree. However good the likes of Suarez, Dzeko and Carroll are they aren't going to save their clubs season like we all hope.

Suarez probably would have been a good player in the long run but I can't say us not buying him in January has, or will, cost us 4th.

I just really hope Levy and HR have a strong plan in mind to rejuvenate our strikeforce in the summer.

OK, this one is a little outlandish, and it would be an immense test of Harry's man management, and some real work on the training ground.... but Adriano? The bloke has fallen from his pedestal big time, but he was doing alright for Inter before he went AWOL. Could he cut it at the top level? Just an idea.

Onto the strikers I'd like. I'm happy for VDV and Krancjar to be our options for attacking midfielder/playmaker.

I think outside of that 3 strikers with different qualities is what we need.

Llorente, Louic Remy and Elmander would go well together imo.

It's difficult. Obviously the likes of Aguero, Etoo and Llorente are going to command mega wages, but you never know...

Personally, I'd go for Mirko Vucinic as I think he has everything we need in a striker. Goals, presence, creativity, experience, winning mentality. He's a class act and I'm surprised he's not been mentioned more often.

I'd then buy Connor Wickham. I've had to watch a lot of Championship football this season, and every time I see him it's so obvious he's going to be a brilliant Premier League striker. Pace, finishing, aerial threat, strength. We have to make sure none of our rivals sign this guy.

Basically, we need a goalscorer with a bit of presence. Hulk might fit the bill too, but I think Vucinic would be a safer bet.

I think we need to invest in 2 top class strikers and one up and coming youngster.
I would be happy with all those guys in fact I would be absolutely delirious.
I would prefer Loic Remy over Hulk but I would be happy either way.

What a strikeforce we would have for many years with Remy/Hulk and Vucinic playing together up front and young Wickham learning from them and VDV.

If his finishing is so good why is his goalscoring stats for Ipswich so poor ?

He looks at least 4 years from being ready for Spurs first team
