Of course not. Which in my opinion is the absolute least the club could do as it ultimately costs them nothing! Loyalty only works one way...
if you inform the club you have purchased a ticket on stub hub they will add the points to your membership - ive had this confirmed by the club in writing

Stubhub makes around 10 billion dollars a year it's crazy. I have no idea what happened to Ticket master that used to be big.

I guess Spurs don't want the hassle of dealing with it all, unless they get a cut of the money for signing up to it

I don't blame Stub hub for taking a cut, it's just like an agency taking part of your wage or being taxed by the government, someone always has to be paid.

As for the fan selling the ticket, it's entirely up to them I guess. They've been seasons ticket holders or members for such a long time, some of these guys have been holders way before the dreaded Gross days and stuck it out. If anything they do us a favour, it's almost impossible for a one game year fan to get a category A ticket, if anything that fan has a chance.

If you are lucky you may get it for face value and if Stub hub wanna charge an extra tenner that's fine, especially if it's a game against Arsenal, Chelsea, West Ham, City or United which i couldn't buy normally

I'd never complain about the price as it's a luxury rather than an essential. I'd rather complain about grocery prices and petrol prices rather than some entertainment. Out of principle I wouldn't pay more than 100 quid for a ticket, if I cannot afford it i go without, but we are all different!

what about the guy who every year pays for the season tickets off multiple guys who have emigrated and sells them on for profit. When mentioned its the old nonsense we dont know about that so cant do anything......

the only fair way is if youre a season ticket holder and you cant go - give the ticket back to the club so they can sell it on to members who are crying out to get to games. maximum 5 tickets per season. if you dont like it let someone else appreciate it

Is that true? How's the best way to contact the club, by phoning them? And do you know if they can back-date them as I went to a number of PL games last season due to not being able to get tickets through Spurs, and at least 2 games this season.

below is an excerpt from an email reply i got from the ticket office:

"Hi Michael,
Thank you for your email.
If you buy tickets via our ticket exchange partner Stubhub, we can award loyalty points after game has taken place.
All you need to do is forward a copy of your booking confirmation to this email address, adding your client reference number and we will add the relevant points to your account.
We are unable to do this prior to the fixture to allow for any cancellations but ask that you do provide this within 28 days so that your loyalty points will reflect your purchases"

Ahh probably won't be able to get any of mine then. I'll still enquire tomorrow though.

Thanks for the info!

How is it nonsense? I just gave a load of factual stuff. The club used to operate like that I'm pretty sure but it's all changed to Stubhub now. You have more chance of viewing a catergory A game through Stubhub than through the regular ticket system it seems

Just looked for a Liverpool ticket. £10 service fee to buy one ticket? What in the actual feck is going on?

Let me help ya fella...

What is the law of supply and demand?
The law of supply states that the quantity of a good supplied (i.e., the amount owners or producers offer for sale) rises as the market price rises, and falls as the price falls. Conversely, the law of demand (see demand) says that the quantity of a good demanded falls as the price rises, and vice versa.

Didn't say nonsense, just my opinion that I do not believe stubhub is fair or the best way to resell tickets.
150 quid for a match ticket? (And more before our cap was introduced)
4 tickets together on resale?

How can you defend some people making a business out of abusing the system?

Nothing personal just my two pence worth

Did you not need a membership number to collect them? Their support has told me you do and you don't so none the wiser :p

No, not at all surprisingly! Just the confirmation mail sent to me from StubHub, and ID to confirm my identity.

Out of principle I wouldnt buy that ticket mate, but some have got category A games for 60 quid which is impossible for going through the official routes. Some fans on here have got excellent deals, but there are some fans who will get fleeced, but if people buy the extortionate tickets then they only fuel the fire.

I'm a season ticket holder, but have sold it and bought two on StubHub for the WBA game just to get my gf to her first ever game...

Never having bought from the stupid company before, how long is needed to collect tickets? How late would you say queues start forming?

Cheers.

Missed out on Everton ballot. Apparently one Hotspur members get to buy through Stubhub before others - how does that work?

This is the most annoying thing, you miss out on the ballot and then people who probably never intended to go will sell 3x above face on stub hub.

It's only season ticket holders that can sell on stub hub, not members. Members get their loyalty points then sell them on Twitter but it means they have to trust the buyer with their stadium card

Also missed out on the ballot. I'm going to wait until kick off time is confirmed before buying a ticket. TV games for that weekend are yet to be announced.

Edit: Just noticed they have now. Sunday 1:30 kick off might mean there will be a few more tickets returned.

So as a member how do I get access to Stubhub tickets before the general public? Our website implies one Hotspur members can buy through Stubhub from Monday but other have to wait until Friday - how do I access that?
