That's weird, U-turn from the other day where he said on stage - twice - that he was staying for the season.

The argument for that was that it was something 'lost in translation' as he's not first language German or something

haha, yes, apparently..

it says that the Wolfsburg spokesperson there in Hamburg thinks De Bruyne wasn't aware of which words he had to repeat!

Sounds to me that they are tempted by the money and are willing to let him go for a big wedge while publicly saying he's not for sale.

They said to de Bruyne on stage he should repeat something word by word so he didnt really realize in the first place what he was saying. When he realized it the agent pretty quick denied it and de Bruyne and his family left the award show ;)

Just seeing Chelsea beat United to pedro, a player they don't even need but bought because they can block him going to a rival.

City about to splash north of 60million themselves

And United seemingly ready-to blow 60 plus on a striker...

What's the point of this league anymore, we're all just making up the numbers apart from the top 3. Fighting over the left over turkey anus that is 4th place.

Frankly it's boring, ffp has done nothing except stop other clubs from joining that little elite

Sad thing is, it's no less competitive or open than the other big leagues.

It's crap isn't it mate! That's why I think the most important thing for us is to win a trophy preferably the Europa. Would be huge for our club.

Torres cost £50m and was gash
Carroll cost £35m and was gash
Shevchenko £30.1m...gash
Veron...£28.1m... gash
Aquilani..£20m...utter gash
Paulinho...£18m...gash
Lamela...£26m...still waiting
Soldado cost £26m and...erm....

Kane....free.

Even a dream team can lose to Bournemouth on a wet night in February, so I wouldn't worry too much about what other clubs are spending their money on. Boxing clever wins a bout, not the hardest punch.

Does if it knocks the opponent out

But only if they can land it. Boxing clever is as much about defence as it is about attack.

Chelsea are frequently undone by lesser teams who shut up shop, wait for them to get frustrated and counter attack or jump on a weakness.

We ripped the Chavs a new one last year without shutting up shop at all, only team to ever put 5 past Mourinho.

Last season Chelsea lost 3 PL games - these were vs Spurs, Newcastle and West Brom
The season before, they lost 6 - Everton, Stoke, Newcastle, Villa, Palace and Sunderland

Chelsea were losing games against teams who didn't spend big money. Look at the teams in the 6 they lose season before last and what their summer spend was - VIlla (£11m), Newcastle (£uck all), Palace (£12m), Sunderland (£17m) Everton (£8m) Stoke (£5m), whilst Chelsea spent over £65m; more than all of those teams combined.

No matter how much City, Chelsea, Arsenal and United spend, they'll still lose games to the bottom half teams.

Yeah you're right, losing 3 games a season is frequently, alarmingly in fact

You're either struggling with a simple phrase, or picking arguments for the sake of spamming up the thread.

I happen to disagree with you, sorry if that's a problem for you. Your gif makes you look so cool.

Btw you were the one who pointed out how many games they lost

Alex Sandro, very promising LB from Porto is off to Juventus

Porto have made a boatload of $ this season from selling Martinez, Sandro, and Danilo

They drop point versus teams with far smaller transfer budgets. When you look at the list of games they didn't win, it's not littered with CL sides - it's mostly mid table and relegation fodder. This is because the lesser teams tend to defend deep and counter attack against them.

Hence, the statement. Are you being deliberately obtuse or trolling? You didn't "disagree", you posted sarcastic and patronising remarks.

Losing 3 games last season doesn't strike me as frequently as you suggest, occasionally is surely more fitting but all teams do that.

Speaking of trolls 2 posters have a different point of view to you on this and you've spammed them both lol
