£34m is too much for Mane IMO. Dangerous player yes (when he wants to be) but I know how I'd be feeling if I heard we put in £34m for him...

Financial mayhem after Brexit and Liverpool rush out first thing Monday morning and buy a player for £34m.

OK.

As usual, the PL doesn't abide by any laws other than it's own.

I also agree that Mané is in no way worth that much for a buying club. It's a great deal for Southampton, they can bring in a lot of quality for this money.

Liverpool being Liverpool and over-spending again. I'm glad they never learn.

Too of the moodiest players in Europe, with a manager prone to throwing his toys out of the pram when things don't go his way.
Recipe for disaster in my opinion

I think Zlatan still has one more good season in him and I think he'll be good for Martial and Rashford because despite his massive ego, he isn't selfish on the pitch.

How much did embolo go for?

€20m

So Liverpool are paying more for Mane than United are paying for Mkhitaryan?

What a world.

This should tell everyone here where the current transfer market stands. Sadio Mane only had 1 year left on his contract, too! 30 million in the current market isn't what it was a decade ago. Though, Mane is a very good fit for what Klopp what's to do. Coutinho/Firmino/Mane is a pretty scary attacking three behind Sturridge.
