It's nothing. Lilywhite Rose threw it out as a musing on Twitter, and suddenly it became a transfer rumor all over. It kind of shows how little it takes for something to be spread nowadays.
Shame.

If we bring in Gravenbach, Kessie, Bissouma or Phillips. Swap Winks and cash for Livramento and send Royal to Sociedad (or similar), I wont be mad about it.

We were linked a few weeks back (think he was also mentioned here), but if one of Sess/Reguilon leaves, Borna Sosa would be super fun to see come in and play in the Conte system.

I's also add Filip Kostic as a great option as a LWB for Conte's system. Plays for Eintracht and already has 3 goals and 8 assists in the bundesliga. He does take set-pieces as well. Last season he had 4 goals and 17 assists and the season before 4 goals and 12 assists. No clue what he's like defensively but that goal and assist output from the LM/LW position is insane. We could probably also get Evan Ndicka, who plays LCB at Eintracht as well.

I'm losing patience with Sessegnon now. Not his fault but can't stay fit for 5 minutes. He's a decent player with bags of potential but as reliable as an Alfa Romeo.

LWB is important in a Conte system, but I think there's a couple of position's we need to improve on first.

The LCB is the obvious one. Have you seen much of Ndicka? If so, what are his best attributes?

I'd be more than happy with Ndicka. He pretty aggressive and proactive, much like Romero, and has a sweet left foot. Not heard anything bad off the pitch either. Should certainly be on the list Imo.
Edit: The other thing I like is that he seems very quick for a big bloke.

I see dyballa being mentioned a lot but doesn’t seem like a conte player to me? I get the impression he is more of a luxury player than a grafter but happy to be corrected if I have misjudged the lad!!

Can't say I've seen the guy play, but I don't think it matters mate.

The likes of Barcelona (and Inter Milan) have been rumoured to be interested in him & when clubs like Barca are interested, we really have to be realistic and accept we're not quite as attractive a proposition, no matter how much we offer, or how big a draw the PL is.

Sometimes it can be obvious and right under your nose. Beautiful goal by Neves last night. 24 with 2 years left probably get for £25-30m. Quality player PL ready.
I can assure you that Neves would cost a whole lot more than £25-30m with 2 years left.

They wanted near £50m for Traore with 1 year left.

Neves would cost £50-60m with two years left.

For Bissouma, one of the most intriguing parts about him apart from his obvious ability is he’s only got a year left of his contract come the summer. Since we all love a swap deal, Brighton has reportedly liked Rodon for awhile so that could be a good solution for both players/clubs.

Agreed. Guess there would be serious competition for his signature though.

Getting a set piece specialist is crucial for me this summer. Someone who can really take corners and wide freekicks around the box could be worth a place or two higher in the table. And if he can take direct freekicks off Kane even better, although I don’t think they make as much difference to the team overall.

I guess this is where we hope Eriksen proves his capacity to perform in the PL after what happened with his health?

After Conte's comments when Eriksen was training with us. I'd be extremely surprised if we're not thinking about him as an option, on a free & keeping funds clear for other targets/positions?

Didn’t Traore have two years left when they wanted that?

Not that I disagree with the principle of what you’re saying mind, Neves will go for top dollar.

Bale is deadlier at set pieces.
