Seems we are most linked with Nunez, Lautaro and Dybala at the moment. Also press talk about De Ketelaere being another option. Wonder how much interest we actually hold in them if any. Id be happy with any one of them really.

That's probably a bit strong. Having said that, I watched some YouTube video of him before the CL game last night. Pace, power, touch, awareness, goals, etc. Then watched him last night. Absolute toss.

I’m not going to pretend like I watch a ton of Benfica matches, I’ve looked at the stats and the odd “vs so-and-so” videos after we were linked. But he’s only 22 years old, last night playing against a Top 2/3 (?) team in the world, that bolsters one of the best collective defensive units (and personnel) you will find. I didn’t watch the match last night, so not sure to what extent he played poorly, but think that should be considered during any evaluation.

I hear you. That wasn't my scouting report btw.... First time I had seen him live and was expecting a regen Falcao based on YouTube. Admittedly, Liverpool were seriously good tho. Was feeling confident about playing them soon until last night.

Has Cornet been mentioned if Burnley go down ? Good age 25 looks perfect as a WB either left or right which is obviously a bonus can play both sides. Has shown can score in PL. Only sticking point might be contract till 2026 but might be relegation clause. Will almost certainly leave but might not be the best vfm unless is a clause.

I have to disagree I'm afraid, he's far from shit. Vincent Janssen was in the shit category, not Nunez. Far from my top choice and I believe others are ahead on our wishlist, but he does have something about him.
