Please no. Lautaro is so overrated. Lacks the necessary physical attributes to perform in the prem. Would be a tragic waste of money.
My penny’s worth, I agree with you. Especially at that ridiculous price.

I don’t agree with that final statement. We need goalscorers more than anything else in this squad.
it would be a real statement of intent too- especially as a lot of our potential other signings can be quite cheap in comparison due to contract status.
Got to go for him at that price.
If we could sell Lucas and Bergwijn for around £50 mil total and brought in Lautaro and Dybala for like £60/70 mil that would be incredible business imo. Would give us so many option up front.

It's the possibility of it being dependant on CL that worries me. Hopefully there are one or two 'statement-making' signings like this that we'd be able to do whether we make 4th or not.

That would be fantastic.
I can’t even begin to imagine how good we would be.
Obviously hugely optimistic but remember when Liverpool outbid us for Diaz in January and we were told we’d only done it to smoke them out? Cant see them bidding for either of those player now.
i know it’s only one rival but I don’t see chelsea city or United going for these boys

Is this sort of money ridiculous? He’s scoring regularly for one of the top teams in Italy. I haven’t watched enough of him to have a great opinion but £60-70m seems about right for this profile of player.

Agree. 60m is hardly ridiculous money these days for a proven top 5 leagues and international striker.

Not sure which physical attributes he’s lacking? Especially in comparison to someone like Son- who’s not exactly known for his tenacity. But he seems to cope just fine.
