In: Forster, Cucurella, Bastoni, Klostermann, Spence, McKennie, Eriksen, Sterling, Gabriel Jesus.

Out: Gollini, Regulion, Doherty, Emerson, Rodon, Tanganga, Winks, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Bergwijn, Lucas, out on loan: Gil, Devine, Scarlett, Parrot

Lloris, Forster, Austen
Klostermann, Spence
Romero, Dier, Sanchez, Bastoni, Davies
Cucurella, Sessegnon
McKennie, Sarr, Bentancur, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Eriksen
Son, Kulusevski, Sterling
Kane, Gabriel Jesus

Now that's how you push on (Perisic on a free if Cucurella is silly money)
Klostermann played like 70% of his games at CB last year.

GK: Forster
CB: Bastoni
RWB: Nahuel Molina
LWB: Kostic/Raum/Perisic
CM: Eriksen
FWD: Jesus/De Ketalaere

I may have missed it but I’m surprised not to see Molina’s name mentioned for the RWB spot. 24 years old Argentina international with 8 goals and 5 assists from RWB for Udinese this season. Be surprised if Paratici didn’t have an eye on him. He’s a better player than Singo.

I think we need to be realistic with some if the signings to get bigger ones and to address our home grown issues.

for me I’d target:

GK Forster (free and HG)

RWB Spence (HG)

2 x CBs Bastoni/Gvardiol and Bremer

LWB Raum or Kostic

CM Bissouma

If possible Serge Gnabry but if not then the following two:

AM Eriksen (free)

ST Nketiah (free, HG, pisses off the gooners and he has shown that he can score goals given the chance).

Anyone know why we do so little scouting/recruitment in South America?

Have we done two signings in the last 10 years(Sandro & Foyth)?
The argentine league's quality top to bottom widely varies and is inconsistent making judging players potential difficult. Brazilian prospects are often overhyped and expensive. plus historical theres a big culture shock. its why sir alex liked to build the spine of his teams around northern europeans historically.

Supposedly we have been scouting 19 year old CM/AM Carlos Alcaraz at Racing Club. Not sure how true it is but I’m sure now with Paratici here we will be looking at that side of the world in greater detail.

might be blasphemes but think he has big time de bruyne esque potential. Doubt we'd take the plunge, having sarr to incorporate.

He looks quality. Sort of player you’d bed in on the left wing but know he will be a future CM like Luka

The more I watch this guy, the more I want us to sign him.

Absolute wand of a right foot - that strike at 25 seconds is sublime.

He seems like the perfect candidate for that versatile forward role.

Gabriel Jesus would be perfect for us. He can play the no9 role in Kane absence. He could also do the Son role in running behind the defense with Kane dropping in. And he can play right side forward , if Kulusevski is unavailable. With us being in CL and probably in hunt across all 4 comps, he would be of great value.

Ofcourse, he may want to be a big fish in small pond of strikers at Arsenal - but if he is willing to come and City would also do the deal with us, I cant see a better no9 out there who gives a better certainty of success. He has not been a prolific scorer in his PL career. I dont think we need the 2nd striker to be prolific - we just need the 2nd striker to be team player and do the job the system requires. Having said that, Conte's less fluid 2 up top could suit him more than Pep's all over the place style.

If it means we can get Jesus for 40-45m, I would settle for Bremer(30m) over Bastoni(60m).

Bremer 30m
Eriksen free
Jesus 45m
Spence 20m
Kostic 15m or Perisic free.

We do this - we would certainly pushing on next season.

Work Permits are an issue. Sandro had Portuguese citizenship and Foyth had Spanish, so didn't require a WP, however, with Brexit, not sure this would have helped now.

Agreed, with the striker highlights you can tell a lot by the type of goals they score. This guy is putting in curlers from outside the box, etc. Vinicius was like all tap ins and open nets.

Any idea how much we'd need to spunk to get this guy?

I'll chip in a 10er, I'm in on him.

Matt Law and Mike McGrath’s piece earlier said that Conte wants Raheem Sterling.

I know Ornstein previously said Sterling wanted a “European giant” if he leaves City, but wonder if hearing Conte wants him and us having CL could change things.
Personally prefer Sterling to Jesus.Question is will he come to us? Possible as Conte would be a real advantage as our manager.
