united want to play 4-3-3 so the first 7 make sense

rafael - rojo - jones - shaw
di maria - herrera - blind
it's then the choice of mata/rooney/van persie...none of whom can play out wide

There's a point mate where the quality shines through. With Falcao, ADM and Blind if they get a CB as well then they'll be right back up the table. We just can't compete with that unfortunately, think we'll have to settle for 6th for a long long while.

Or go all out for the Europa League.

They want to play 3-5-2 don't they;

de Gea
Jones Smalling Rojo
Valencia_______________Blind/Shaw
Herrera di Maria
Mata
Rooney Falcao/RVP

Still think they need another CB and RWB

They've already loaned Mitroglu as well. What happened to Tankovic? He looked half decent.

Tankovic was out of contract, joined AZ. Has scored 2 and assisted 3 in 4 league games. Could be The Hit in Eredivisie this season.

Anyway what's the deal with this Falcao chap? Was he not getting games at Monaco? I'm clueless about European football.

Thought i had heard that he had never wanted to actually play at Monaco but they were the ones that the 3rd parties wanted him to go play for....now that the 3rd parties are out of the picture he is trying to get to a bigger club.

Third party moved him there, Perez told him he would sign him the season after

He loves the pl and wants to play here hence we have been strongly linked with him twice.

Monaco cant afford to pay his wages because of FFP and the french ruling that they have to pay tax

His wages are about £24m give or take a couple mill. This is because Monaco didnt think they had to pay tax so they gave him £12m a year

We could of signed him this season

Except we'd never pay someone £230k a week.

Monaco don't have to play french taxes, they settled with the league (for something like 10M if my memory is correct).
The russian owner of Monaco have troubles : his divorce was expensive (he lost half of his money to his ex-wife), and there are rumors he has health issues and wants out of Monaco.

Really I thought the other clubs wanted blood and demanded they hold the same standards as themselves

So are we saying it's all his ex-wifes fault?

Yeah some of them, but in the end they just paid a fine. I think that's a f-ing disgrace, but ...
In Monaco's defense, they never paid french taxes, and the league and others owners started to care when the russian guy arrived, they didn't care before ...

IMO that would be a bargain for us anyway, United on the other hand don't have a team behind the front 3 and nothings changed

For us he could win us the title if he stays fit, he's that good imo
