Falcao is the ultimate panic signing. Apparently it will cost them close to £30m for the loan. How does he fit in a team with RVP, Rooney and Mata? Where is a decent rightback, centreback, and defensive midfielder? Crazy.

What's great is, signing a manager on huge wages, then signing the best players in the world, that any idiot would want to buy.

So, what astuteness is LVG providing for his money? Who couldn't get Di Maria, RVP, Rooney, Mata, Falcao scoring goals?

If they don't strengthen their defence then I don't think teams like City, Chelsea will be too worried about their strikers.

There's a point mate where the quality shines through. With Falcao, ADM and Blind if they get a CB as well then they'll be right back up the table. We just can't compete with that unfortunately, think we'll have to settle for 6th for a long long while.

Chelsea are really strong. JM has done his thing of building from the back. I just guess that LVG and Manu are adding marquee players both to send a message and improve their brand. Great player, like Di Maria, but of course only part of the jigsaw. Let's hope Manu plan to play Mata, RVP and Rooney as their back three

Could happen plus there are other players available that I think Manu are after. A loan deal for Falcao, several players sold and they have the money. I expect them to make another 2/3 big signings before the day is done
