Yeah, he has been a revelation this year for Vigo, scored 14 in 24. Funny, if Liverpool had managed to bring out this side of him he would have been a very good signing. I guess some players just cant adapt, although i reckon its also got to do with the coaching.Lol was it really? N.o10 I think he was, pacey player with red boots. Hard to see from so high up but he looked absolute mustard. Mabye we don't want him then.
Think you need an ounce or two. Wake up man.If Sunderland goes down, sign Defoe for one season.
I reckon we will be all over Max Meyer.
I doubt he has ever been better, he is performing at the age of 35 or almost 35 way better than several younger, fresher strikers. He knows the club, but he would arrive full of confidence, now. At this point, I would assume that he wouldn't be stressed over not playing. He has nothing more to prove, and he wouldn't be playing for a future. The fact that he is still in the game at this level means that he must be putting in the work needed off pitch, perfect for Pochettino. We struggle signing young, suitable back-ups for Kane, this could give us more room to look a bit longer to discover a gem out there. In terms of having a striker that's going to play in tedious CL matches and largely sit on the bench, I can't think of anybody that would be more gettable and more suited.Think you need an ounce or two. Wake up man.
For a start - Defoe is desperate to play regularly - he wants to break his hero Ian Wright's goal record, and he just realises he hasn't got long left and wants to play every game he can.I doubt he has ever been better, he is performing at the age of 35 or almost 35 way better than several younger, fresher strikers. 14 goals in PL for Sunderland at 34 years old. All you need to know. He is suited as the back up to Kane. For a start - Defoe is desperate to play regularly - he wants to break his hero Ian Wright's PL goal record, and he just realises he hasn't got long left and wants to play every game he can.
2nd he doesn't suit our formation - he never has suited playing one up top. He may score at Sunderland - but he has never been able to hold the ball up well so his team cedes possession way too easily.
No, it doesn't because he'd playing a different role in a different team, mostly from the bench.14 goals in PL for Sunderland at 34 years old. All you need to know. He is suited as the back up to Kane.
Which he would be full of confidence to deal with, IMO. No bench player out there the likes of him.No, it doesn't because he'd playing a different role in a different team, mostly from the bench.
As I said - he's all wrong for us. It would be a terrible step backwards.Which he would be full of confidence to deal with, IMO. No bench player out there the likes of him.
Deffo Defoe, as I said.As I said - he's all wrong for us. It would be a terrible step backwards.

Well luckily it will never happen so we'll never know who's right.Deffo Defoe, as I said.
Nah maaannnn...Surely it would be you've smoked an oz or 2? Suggesting he needs gear would mean you make him right?
