Nearly another there from outside the box, low and hard just outside the post. Like the look of him. He's got good strength as well.

Gonna watch s'ton game.

I like what I'm seeing. Batshuayi seems very complete- has pace, is surprisingly strong and has held the ball up well, just bamboozled their defender with good dribbling, and seems to be good with both feet.

imo Lacazette the better fit, but we can do a lot worse than Batshuayi, has the athleticism and raw finishing ability that he wouldn't flop for us, but I dont know if he's a perfect fit for us.

I'd be well happy with Batshuayi. Watched a fair bit of Marseille last season and he always impressed me in some sort of capacity.

Montero is the quintessential player I hate. All flash, no defensive work, and little actual production. Lots of fancy dribbling so fans think he's good, but at the end of the day he's usually done fuck all except make a FB look bad.

When you watch some players in other leagues some just cry out "made for the Premier League". Batshuayi just seems more and more to fit this description.

Missed a couple of fairly simple chances in the 2nd half though.

Clearly got talent, but strikes me a being very raw.

Might be bad translation, but it says in here something about ligaments not being affected.

Also, on Twitter yesterday I saw quotes from a Lille doctor or something saying it was not serious.

Selon médecin du #Losc la blessure de Sofiane Boufal au genou droit ne présenterait aucun caractère de gravité sous réserve d'examens demain

Edit- here's an Italian article which seems to be translated better into English-

Seems legit.

I only tuned in for the second half but he looks raw. I've only seen him for 45 minutes though so clearly no expert. He does have presence though and looks powerful.

Not if Liverpool win the Europa and although unlikely, we finish 4th.
Nope as previously explained, it's impossible now. We can't finish below United so City will have to be in top three for us to finish fourth. So fourth guaranteed CL regardless of Europa.
