Barca are doing great business for a club that is bust ...

Wijnaldum
Aguero
Garcia

... all on frees.

Depay and Donnarumma rumoured.
Depay and Wijnaldum would be great, Aguero and Garcia not really and bringing Donnarumma when they have Ter Stegen considering their financial situation is bit pointless

Why so? Donnarumma is younger and probably has a higher ceiling than Ter Stegen.

They’re both £50m+ goalkeepers, so let them compete for the #1 spot, sell whichever one doesn’t make it - quids in.

Securing a £50m+ asset for next to nothing is rarely a poor idea.

Makes complete business sense, given their financial situation.

There are several players rumoured to be leaving City who could improve us tbh.

Laporte, Sterling, Jesus...

Okay Ake is a little underwhelming, but put him in a squad with Dier and Sanchez, and he starts ahead of them every time for me.

The response to any of this should be "You're a morally bankrupt club owned by a disgustingly rich state....... pay up".

No negotiating. Set a price. Learn from Dortmund

If we sell Kane in a part exchange for Jesus and Ake plus cash I will be livid. It would need to be Laporte or Cancelo in the deal to make it even worth looking at imo.

And what club will buy that 50m goalkeeper that won't play?
They are paying 110% of revenue for wages, bringing him with the commission incolved for Raiola doesn't make sense.

agree. Jesus is S**t. 100m + Laporte or Cancelo. 80m + Ake Laporte/Cancelo would be a good deal.

What worries me most about this window is shifting players.

I just don't see who would come in for our deadwood...

Sissoko - anyone with eyes will not be paying money for him, let alone the 80k a week.

Lamela - injury's galore, high wages, last year of his contract, not particularly productive either, maybe an Italian club will come in if we're lucky, but their not going to be paying much.

Aurier - actually had a decent season, and probably has his suitors but again last year of his contract, 10m?

Winks, dier and Dele - homegrown players but their value must be the lowest it's ever been. If their was a club coming in for them then I would seriously doubt Levy would accept the type of offers they would put in.

Sanchez - no way we get even half of what we paid, I quite like him and think he could be a very good player for us, but if we were to sell it would probably be below 20m

Toby - again I don't want him to go, but if poch came in and wanted rid, I'd be surprised if we got a fee. We didn't get any takers when he was available at 25m in his prime, on big wages now as well.

Moura - I can see a few clubs coming in for him but we'd be incredibly lucky to get our money back.

Ndombele - if he does want out, we will get nowhere near what we paid for him, and i can't think of a team that have the money or desire to sign him.

Doherty - we might break even on this one, but again provided we can find a suitor but we will never be able to get a quality right back for the same price.

The big issue with all of these is Daniel levy, he doesn't sell cheap and even if teams came in with what we would call 'reasnoble' offers, I highly doubt Levy will cut his losses. I don't think we'll spend too much without selling players and I just can't see us shifting them quickly.

Which is a pity as there is a lot of quality players available this summer.

Dier is not HG though, and the most important things is that many of them seem to be thinking that they are better than they actually are

I don't think we're far off a squad poch could work with. A Rb, lcb and striker and he could have a capable team to crack the cl places for the following season. Assuming we lose Kane, we might end up with something like this which has the potential to be very decent indeed.

Lloris
Aarons Sanchez Laporte Regulion
PEH Ndombele
Bergwijn Dele Son
Jesus

Subs including Lo Celso, Rodon, Doherty, Sessegnon, Scarlett, Skipp.

Awful team

Wont even make the europa

If Kane cannot be persuaded to stay, it should be all cash or no deal.

Dont think we will take Citeh rejects anyway, purely because Levy wont pay them Citeh wages.

LCB has been such a gap for us over the past few seasons. If Kane sends up going to City, Laporte really needs to be a part of those
negotiations.

I can understand completely Laporte's reluctance in joining us, but that should be put onto City to resolve if they want to land Kane as part of the deal. Let City subsidise his wage or cover a large signing bonus if that's required.

I do like Ake, but Laporte really is a different level and could be pivotal to our rebuild if the Kane transfer was to go ahead.

News that moose has now come out with a statement about leaving!
Strange how few of our players are open about leaving, maybe it is a way to force levy to sell as it has been reported in the past the he has prevented exits of fringe players by excessive transfer fee demands.
We need to move players out to move on, so hopefully this summer is the time.

edit: link posted above...

This just shows the problems we have with a stale first team squad. Back in the summer of 2016 and 2017 all our players were chomping at the bit, pulling in the same direction and, despite dreading a Poch pre-season, were looking forward to the new season. Now our ‘leaders’ / senior players are all looking to leave (at worst), or are non-commital (at best) - Kane, Bale, Lloris, Sissoko. Unfortunately we need a hard reset. Doesn’t matter who is manager for next season, it is going to be painful.

If Kane has to be sold to City, Laporte is the only player am interested. Dont need Ake.
But if I have to chose one other player, then we should go for Pedro Porro their Spanish international RB.
