Spurs Ex-Pros vs. UPS Camden, Sunday 26th July, Brimsdown FC (Enfield Town).

Graham Roberts, Garry Brooke, Mark Falco, Micky Hazard, Tony Galvin (I think - if he's the one lining up to the right of Graham Roberts), Steve Sedgeley...and DJ Spoony.

Spurs 3 (Brooke 2, Falco) - UPS 0

Micky Hazard only came on for the last half. I think he was late cabbying the night before.

Apart from Spoony and Tim O'Shea*, that's about right - but what did you expect?

*No, me neither. Played the one game for us, apparently.

I thought Spoony was a gooner

He probably is, for some reason I was thinking he was a Chelsea fan.

Either way is not Spurs I am sure, but nothing can stop a D list celeb getting involved in some form of celeb football (just look at all the exposure this match is bringing him)

Judging by his age and race I would say there is a good chance of him being a Liverpool fan even (based on John Barnes playing for them and being the key black footballing role model for kids from his time)

That other team's kit is almost exactly like the team I used to play for.

I vaguely remember Brooke playing against Southampton on a bloody freezing Boxing Day 1980, wearing the number 7 and scoring 2. On that day, to me he became a legend.
