Of course it would be, that is just a logical assumption. But that has got absolutely nothing to do with anything I've said. We have no choice other than to play midweek. Not sure why he even posted it.

We don't really have a choice in playing on Sundays either. Sometimes it's forced by Europa, other times we simply have to do it because of TV commitments and the restriction on football being shown on a Saturday means it is moved to Sunday.

Now you're saying Jews would complain about Sunday matches. Why would they?
Oh I see what you were saying now. No, I wasn't saying Jews would complain about Sunday matches, I'm saying anyone who can't make Sunday's. The Jewish thing only came up when I wondered if that is why we don't play on Saturdays even when we're available.

My argument lies with why we cannot be shown on Sky's Saturday 17:30 slot instead of Sunday.

It isn't an argument though is it? It is likely that they can only show so many games of a Saturday, they have to show another set number of games on a Sunday. Plus the god knows how many other considerations. Then you get someone else moaning about the changed time and so on…...

If by some miracle, they thought to themselves "tell you what, SpursManChris keep banging on about it, lets move Spurs game to Saturday evening" then pretty soon, VillaManDave from Alice Springs is bitching like fuck about HIS particular desires, asking how you get your way and he cannot.

No matter what they do, no matter what day and what time any given game is scheduled for, someone, somewhere, will be inconvenienced. When its us, its us and that's all there is to it. TV's bucks make the decisions

This has been explained to you more than once. Ignore it or let it sink in. Either way. But for the love of god, let it go. My eyes are bleeding now :D

While some people may be inconvenienced by a Saturday game and would rather have Sunday, no one will EVER be able to complain that we have too many, due to our forced sunday games after Europa. The simple fact is, it is unnecessarily out of proportion. Complaints will never work the other way around because no matter what, we will always have more sunday games than saturday as long as we're in Europa.

17 pages on 1 persons dismay of Sunday fixtures with assumptions and conspiracy theories with no substance or facts to back anything up.

Unless you polled every Spurs fan, you're not going to get an answer if the majority of Spurs fans are in agreement with you. You haven't even done a poll on here for starters.

As it's been said numerous times, we play Sundays due to commitments midweek in Europa, or because of being on TV or because of policing. It's not going to change, if you feel that strongly about it, write to the Premier League, Sky or Uefa, not sure why you constantly bump this thread on a one man rant is actually achieving apart from work yourself up.

Me personally, it doesn't matter. Due to my knee, I no longer play on a Saturday, but work some weekends, so would miss the game whether it would be on a Saturday or Sunday. My preference of day is neither Saturday or Sunday, it's any day that I have no plans on. And being on sky is a lot better, unlike fans abroad who seem to get more premiership viewing than us, as it enables people who can't get to the game watch it, without relying on some dodgy stream.

Oh. I would only be interested in polling Tottenham/London locals with season tickets as they're the ones who would be mostly affected.

A secondary poll would include anyone in the country with a season ticket. SC certainly can't offer this demographic.

In relation to Europa and TV, I've never once stated otherwise. Of course this is what does it. In relation to policing? Yeah this is an interesting one, but I can't think for the life of me what the difference is between the two days to be honest. Arsenal seem to be unaffected when they play at home on Saturdays and it's obviously the same Police division. Not sure it stands TBH

Why only locals? People attend our games from all over the country and are affected aswell, whether the game is on a Saturday or Sunday.
My mates are season tickets holders and like some, May prefer Saturday to Sunday or not mind moving for a couple of seasons to Milton Keynes, as they would, as we come from Bedford and MK isn't that far away. Answer is, you can't please everyone.

Like Liverpool and Everton, Man City and Man Utd, Spurs cannot play at home on the same day as Arsenal and that will never change.

I only said locals because they would be the ones going to most games. I guess it wouldn't be a bad idea to include all fans everywhere with season tickets, considering the traveling involved which could make a Sunday that much more impossible.

Of course you can't. You're stating the obvious. All teams will have games on Sunday and games on Saturday. Therefore not everyone will be pleased on any given week. My point is, on any given week with us, it's almost always Sunday. So when we ARE available for Saturday but do not play, it's not fair to those fans who cannot make Sunday games, who miss out anyway when we are forced into playing Sundays due to Europa.

Chris have you thought about lobbying for a new day to be added to the existing 7? It could solve all the problems couldn't it?

Chrisday could be squeezed in between Saturday and Sunday if we all give up a few hours sleep per night and take that time off of the original 7 days to make the 8th.

He'd then create a thread, outraged that Spurs didn't have the foresight to include 'Chrisday' on his 2014 Spurs calendar, rendering it useless.

Expressing his outrage in the form of a number of questions.

"Are you telling me...?!"
