No doubt we need to spank Sunderland.

If we lose, I know I won't be coming online to read the bullshit on here for a few days..

Me neither, but we won't have to worry about it because we are going to win.

If we lose it will be gutting but to be honest I'm not putting to much emphesis on this early in the season. I think when the transfer saga's are finally completed...then I want to start seeing some serious results. At the moment I can understand and accept a few shit results due to the berbatov saga being a huge distraction...

i would say without hesitation 4th is out. I would still be pretty relaxed about top 6 even assuming a chavs defeat. the cups are anyones still.

I would be severely pissed off. I make no apologies for expecting a minum 5th spot after the fuss we made to get Jol replaced with Ramos and if a bad run continues beyond the chelase game i would be pretty much resigned to that not happening and would therefore want something spectaular in a cup to stop me wanting Levy and Ramos out the football club.

If we lose, then either our expectations are too high and we are actually still shit or there is really something wrong with the club. I'd be gutted, what with all the money already spent. It would mean another bad start, which in turn will end up with us not being able to challenge for Champions League..................AGAIN!! And what would happen if that happens? We'll be in debt, no doubt about it, because I'm sure Levy and co are taking a huge gamble by spending big and hoping we qualify for CL, where the expenses can be recouped.

I smell Leeds Utd..............I hope I have a bad nose.

Dont you mean, what if Spurs lose to Sunderland?

I think we'll struggle early on this sason and we'll have to learn to win messy for a little while. But, with our new signings (and hopefully a few more to follow,) i think we'll start winning a lot more games home and away and make up some good ground around Christmas time. Question is, will we be able to get enough points early on in order to keep in touching distance of Liverpool and Arsenal? I have a feeling that Liverpool may drop points in that time so hopefully we can keep close to them. We should be capable of winning 4 or 5 games on the spin on occassion, and hopefully we'll close the gap on the top 4.

im supposed to be driving up the M1 for bank holiday weekend, so we better win or i will kill everyone else in the car.

trouble is, everyones got used to sacking the manager after two games so im sure there will be panic if we lose.

I know what you mean - I almost cant listen on the radio if my kids are in the car as i dont want to scare them! I usually settle for muted celebrations/commiserations which isnt healthy.

I'd be gutted. They've signed a few new players but mostly our rejects and at HOME with the squad we have we should really be beating teams like that time and time again especially if we want to get to the lofty heights of the top4. It could also be potentiolly damaging for our hopes in the league as that would be two matches were we in theory should have a chance of winning both,if we came away from these two with zero points I think we may take a fair bit of time to recover especially with Chelsea soon after!!! A win is critical!

I would say, like I have been saying for YEARS, that we need some solid defensive players. Which we do. Which everyone seems to have forgotten about in all this striker bullshit.

Fucking centre back and a holding mid PLEASE.

Not being funny, but no-one is better than me. I just allow Ramos to manage Spurs, in the same way Chuck Norris allows the Sun to rise every day.
