I'd rather we kept him. He has the potential to be a lot better than he is now.

Chadli has that little bit of magic sometimes to get the odd goal against some really good teams. I don't want him sold. He lost his father last season (I think his father anyway) and it would have affected him. I think he's better than he showed last season and I think if he's played right he'll prove himself.

This is another Gylfi Sigurdsson situation for me.
I wish i could give 2 winners for this post.

We'll regret selling him

I'd miss Chadli definitely a quality player who can play up front and on either wing. Probably not sure to start but with the new guy coming in from Marseilles, would rather keep Chadli than Clinton. Not sure Swansea will pay 15m, you could get most of Wijnaldum for that.

Chadli cannot play upfront. At least not in our system. The few times he'd been asked to do so he's been completely anonymous. He's talented but not hardworking enough for Pochettino's style of play. It still grates on me that he ducked out of a simple header in the build up to Chelsea's first goal in the league cup final. £15m seems fair to me.

What did we get for Andros? 10 mill? Chadli is so much better that he should have a 20 mill value imo.

While you are right often the reputation of a player means more in terms of cost rather than their actual ability.

Townsend had a short period where he was one of England's better players. He was being touted as a potential star. Most Spurs fans knew better but years later his price remains high.

Chadli is seen as a bit part player at Spurs, not always fair, and as he hasn't really stood out his price remains lower than his ability.

Chadli will be a good buy for many Prem teams. We just won't get the money for him that he is probably worth.
