Hi Guys,

On tuesday night 15 th Feb, Swiss Spurs were also on tour in Milan

We were in the neutral stand but that was so nice to hear Spurs fans singing .............We never really hear about the italian Ultras.

Here are some pictures from that special night.

They can be accessed from my facebook account directly..(view possible to everybody)

Thanks for posting the pics - certainly a trip to remember for you. I see that the fat bus conductor and what looks like his brother joined you for dinner (see photo 19, right in the centre)! Was he doing a bit of covert scouting?

Glad, you enjoy the pics guys.
I Love to see pics from others too.
This is even better if you leave some feedback on our Swiss Spurs facebook page than directly on mine.
I give more credibility to our group if you leave positive feedback on our group wall than on my personal page.
But this run into Europe really start to be printed on people's mind.
Let's wish we won't fuck off vs Milan at home but we count on you all in North London to prove that Yids are amongst the best in the world (if not the best ones)
The ones in the away section in Milan really made us proud to be part of this clubs
and i would have givien everything to be with them in la Curva Nord.
Now , it 's up to you and the players that this away win wasn't an accident (as some people think this was more an MIlan deaft' than a Spurs victory).
Let's make the same vs Milan that vs Inter...
We can and must do it....
Then, a french visit to Lyon or Marseille will be fine for me.
Have a good week end.
Alex

Good pics. I note that you had the Star of David on some of them. Wasn't there this whole thing about Spurs fans being asked not to take any Jewish imagery to the San Siro prior to the Inter game?

Yes Azrael,
That was me.
Despite i am not jewish, and for very personal reasons; i fell the need to show this Club has also had jewish roots and i also see it as a mean to show people that
we can ourselves Yids or Jews and being proud of that without being Jewish.
This scarf is also a very useful to feel the level of Antisemitism in different countries.
And i can see that Italy still got some very nasty aspects about this matter...

Great Pics Pieter,
I knew we had fans in Belgium and Benelux in general.
You really should have had a great time as it seems your were with the English fans.
I also recognized some famous former players of Spurs on your pics.
Maybe that would worth to open a new post in order more fans to enjoy your pics.
Have a good day and Coys.
Let's hope for Marseille or Lyon to go through and this would be nice for me to play a french club in the next round.
But let's qualify first.

Great pictures, the one of the snowy mountains reminds me of my Journeys to Fiesch going past the Jungfrau through the Obergom (I know I spelt that wrong) Valley. The San Siro looks amazingly big!

Nice pics mate. That looks like an pretty impressive stadium.

Vous êtes tous francophones ou c'est des suisses-allemands? T'as d'autres potes fans des Spurs en France? Merci pour les photos en tout cas.

Deka,

First of all; You speak good French.(I see that you'rre located in France but do not know if your french yourself)
Most of Swiss Members come from Swiss speaking Germany. ( Basle- Zurich - Luzern)
Lets say 80 % of them live there.
And amongst them, 50% are swiss citizens and they other are british people who setlled in Swizerland for work.
For the remaining 20%, we come from Romandie (french speaking Switzerland).
As for me, i am french but lives just 15 kil from the swiss border so i consider myslef 100 % as a swiss spur.
When i used to work in Paris a few years ago, i sometimes joined the Parispurs around St Michel in Paris.
Except from that, all my mates have special attention for Spurs and have formal interdiction to cheer Arsenal (except maybe if they kick out Barcelona from the CL).
If you want to contact me for anything, i'll be happy to help one a Spur Fan located in France.

Where did you learn that perfect Dutch ? lol

You know the Flemish Belgian fanclub ? I think it's the eldest official fanclub out of the UK. Correct me if I'm wrong ;-). As far as I know it was founded somewhere in the 80's and were an immediate result of the matches against Anderlecht for the UEFA cup. Some Anderlecht fans were charmed by the Spurs and kept travelling to WHL to see them live.

Even now, the fanclub is still very active and travels to WHL every home game and some away games, too. We have more then one hundred members. In the town I live (Zele) sometimes it looks like a North London enclave ;-) One can easily spot people walking the streets with Spurs clothing (which is rare : I have never seen Arse, Chelsea or ManUre wear here)

Yes Pieter,

A few years back, i liked going through the internet and around the forums and i read an artilce about belgian fans of Spurs.

That's why , i knew there was an organised Fan Club In Belgium ( in the Fleminish part more than the Wallonie i think).

What makes me a little bit sad (very sad in fact) is that we (the fans) and everybody around this Football Club need a Proper Football Ground.
A 80000 seater Ground like San Siro or Signal Iduna Park ( Former Westfalen Stadion)

With the 36000 fans already from WHL + the 35000 on the waiting list, we already reach the figure of 70000 .

Plus all the fans from abroad that would come in London more easily if we know we could have tickets , this would be great.

As an Official Fan Club, Swiss Spurs can only provide Tickets matches
to its numbers who also have a Membership with THFC.
I don't know exactly how many members paid their memberships with Swiss Spurs (around 50 i would say) But we are only on position to have tickets for around 15 of us who also have a THFC membership.

I can hardly see how many numbers swiss spurs have exactly as i live near french side of Swizerland and this is much more easier the committee members are close from eachother in North and Central Switzerland.

I find it very hard for the others fans who basically never will have the possibility to see an Home match until the time we 'll get a Bigger Stadium.

I would be even ready to put some money on it (football ground)
let's image 50 000 spurs fans to put £20 each in THFC to provide the Club with some extra cash. ( this is not much but this already represents £1 M).

If the Club would demand money to its supporters for this ground i am absolutely sure, many more than 50000 of us would give money and i would probably give a little bit more than £20 because we all perfectly know that this new Stadium is an URGENT necessity.
Wish we can meet any time soon on a european tour or in a bigger "house" in London.
Alex

I'm actually french, so I guess it's one of the reasons my french is so good .
It's cool to hear from other french speaking spurs fans, I kinda feel alone here, except that just like you I'm always trying to convert my friends to our religion. What is Parispurs though? A group of fans? Or is it just one guy taking care of that blog : http://www.parispurs.com/ ?
Cheers
