Tanguy Ndombele wound up Tottenham fan with his slow trudge off the pitch as his side trailed to League One Morecambe at home on Sunday, and now the Frenchman wants out.

It's my guess that we could be stuck with him for the remainder of his contract due to his huge salary.

So him actively wanting to move is great news for us. But at the end of the day money talks, so we'll still need something like an acceptable offer.

Nice sentiment but wanting him out is different from wanting bad things to happen to him. He has the ability to make his own luck in life but hanging around Tottenham with his current attitude is contributing to the misery of our whole fanbase, players and staff. As I said in a different thread, investing in the squad isn't just about buying - it's about selling as well, and if selling at a loss ultimately means we move forward, Levy needs to suck it up and accept that buying Ndombele was a huge mistake. I doubt Conte has any patience with a player like him so as far as I'm concerned, whatever it takes to get TN out the door will do before he poisons the place. I've got some hope that someone in a slower league will want to take him.

Finding a buyer to pay that salary is the challenge, it's not Levy's asking price.

Very possible that we'll need to go down this route. A £20m offer with us getting £10m and £10m going toward his salary isn't great but better than just having him here taking up a squad place and a huge salary for 2.5 years.

We were losing at home against Morcambe with 20 minutes to go and the guy is walking off even slower than he moved during the game, which is almost impressive. I'd never advocate booing poor performances from individuals but he obviously doesn't care about Spurs. Respect doesn't have to be earned, it should be the default position, but he's lost it.
