Corluka starting ahead of Hutton is key for me. Charlie is solid and wont leave the type of space that Inter exploited so effectively in the first game at the San Siro.

Corluka left loads of space in behind him for the goal at Sunderland....

Was this not due to the disruption caused by Gallas' absence? Moreover, if you are using this as an example to say he is a bad defender and think Hutton would do better I think you are wrong.

Sandro was a beast against Sunderland so I wouldn't rule out the possibility of him starting ahead of Wilson tonight.

Especially when harry says he will definitely play, which makes me think he will start with modders if fit. If not, then it is a bit of a kick in the teeth for Sandro, especially with the whole champs league fiasco in the summer when the poor lad was stranded at the airport.

I've seen enough to make me believe Sandro if the future, hopefully we will have a Sandro Modders CM partnership for the next decade, starting with them destroying milan! That said, I thought Wilson was our most important player a year ago, well he was actually, how things change.

Sandro for LW - are you mental???

If its not Krankie it will be Pienaar. If its not Pienaar it will be Lennon. If its not Lennon it will be VDV, or Modric, or even bloody Gomes ahead of Sandro at LW.

Obviously Piennar but I thought he was out (a knock or not eligible) ?

Sandro went in to CB with Kranjcar moving in to CM as the attack was down our right.

Corluka was well out of position and should have just left Pienaar to deal with it.

Corluka is a better defender than Hutton, but i dont think Corluka is this amazing defender that some seem to think he is.

That's why I said 99.9%. Left a loophole for overly optimistic people like you I suppose.

YEa your right I was foolishly optimistic to think we would do better than a 3-2 loss tonight ay?.....if only that magic genie was around so you could snatch his hand off for the 2-3 loss

We out thought, out fought and outclassed Milan in their own back yard!!!

I think 99.9% of Spurs fans should have had more faith in the team
