Fine, TWO players we haven't signed yet then and one who has only just signed. It's still too early for them to play on Sunday

This would be the most probable team.......
Lloris
Walker Daws Verts Rose
Paulinho Capoue Dembele
Townsend Soldado Chadli
But im hoping that Kaboul is 100% now, even if he played last night........and the 3 players registered today so can be called upon to play
Lloris
Walker Kaboul Verts Rose
Paulinho Capoue Dembele (Holtby/Eriksen)
Townsend Soldado Chadli
This would allow the team to play a more effective high line as 3 of the 4 at the back are speedster. Hotby or Eriksen to come in for Dembele, if Dembele not able to sustain the whole game. I think it is still too early to introduce all 3 of Lamela, Chiriches and Eriksen together during this game.

Yeah......btw, i said that as well in bold......

From what i understand that if they are registered today by 1200hrs, they would be eligible to play? Anyway, it is just hopeful on my part to see just one of the 3 as a sub - reference to Eriksen. But guess, its only Chiriches is eligible for now and the other 2 looking less likely.

Can't understand why some people don't even have Lennon on the bench. Perfect replacement for chadli/Townsend in the last 20 mins if we have to go for it. Our "middle 3" options...sandro, capoue, paulinho, carroll, dembele, holtby with Eriksson to potentially come in, is by miles the best in the league, I keep looking at the squad in disbelief that this is real.

Jesus, I'm not even talking about eligibility - it doesn't matter if we sign all three right now and get all the paperwork sorted for them to play whenever we want - they've not even trained with the first team yet, have never met any of the other players, and have no idea how we play.

It's too early to play any of them because it's too early to play them - they will gradually become part of the team after the international break (when they'll probably have to play for their countries themselves).

I agree. Imagine a tired fullback suddenly seeing that he has to keep up with a fresh Lennon. He can be a real asset coming off from the bench.

While I do agree with you I would have Lamela on the bench just to fuck them off, maybe get him to do a pitch walk on and wave at our fans :). Im sure that would get a good reaction :D.

Really could've done with Sandro fit and ready for this one. I think they'll know our weak spot is our fullbacks. Dembele and especially Capoue will need to be on their A game to make sure we don't get hit on the counter. Fancy Holtby or Sigurdsson to come on in place of Paulinho if we need more of a direct goal threat as the game goes on. As it stands, I think this will be one of the cagiest NLDs in quite a while.

I can probably get a ticket for this game... But in with the home fans. Has anyone ever done that at a NLD? I don't think I'll be able to hold it in if we score... Let alone win! I'll probably get lynched. Fml

I've done this twice, and both at the Emirates. Once when we lost 2-1, Berbatov scored for us and Bendner and someone else scored for them. And the match where we drew 1-1 in the first leg of the league cup semi, Jenas and Feo on the scoresheet.

Both times was in corporate end as my work at the time had a couple of season tickets. Had no problems celebrating our goals in either games, but wouldn't have done that if in with the real fans.

None of the player/s we may sign today/tomorrow will play. The team will be all of those who didn't play the second half vs Tibilbilbiisdi yesterday bar verts

Lloris
Walker Dawson (poss Kaboul depending on how he got on) Verts Rose
Capoue Paulinho Dembele
Townsend Soldado Chadli

Bench: Kaboul/Daws Naughton Sandro Holtby Carroll Defoe Brad

Lennon on the bench for Carroll maybe if fit. I would leave Holtby in there and hope he gets some game time as his passion and energy would be ideal for this type of fixture. Last night he was everywhere and also put in a few really smart passes, i think he'd be perfect to replace Dembele on the 60 minute mark when he does his usual falling off of the cliff!

The Premier League deadline for players to be registered for weekend games is, I have just been told, 'close of play today' (around 5pm).

Hmm do we want to put Lamela on the bench ? He would only have one days light training tomorrow Saturday to get to know the other players.

If all 3 sign on time and have only 1 day light training, i would put Eriksen as sub and come in last 15mins if really needed. Why i choose Eriksen, is because of his dead ball specialization. Direct Free kicks to be exact. This does not require him to know his new team mates well....

Edit : Both E Lamela and V Chiriches already start training from Twitter updates....

Even if we don't get the result we want at the Shamarites, we will absolutely flay them when they come to WHL and our squad has gelled. So pumped for this season now.

You know what, I really can't wait for Sunday.
I think I will start at 1.30, whereupon I will witness Liverpool lose their 100% lucky start to the season, and see Spurs claim the throne later on.

I think Liverpool have every chance of beating United to be honest. Not sure why so many people just write them off.

Anyways, pretty sure it will be:
Lloris
Walker - Dawson - Vertonghen - Rose
Paulinho - Capoue - Dembele
Townsend - Soldado - Chadli
With some of Holtby, Sandro, Lamela, Kaboul, Defoe on the bench.
