We need to harness the anger from how tonight finished, use it to foster a shared us-against-the-world mentality, start this game aggressively and continue in that vein. We need to take into it a mindset that aims to beat them in both halves.

Be very surprised if Bentancur can start, he’s played like 90 mins in the last 4. The fact that we now have to go to Marseille with a strong team means we need to be smart with rotation here.

Romero Dier Lenglet
Doherty Skipp PEH Sessegnon
Gill Kane Son

I'd be surprised if Gil starts despite his good cameo last night. Conte has been pretty consistent throughout saying Gil is a very good player, that just isn't cut out for the Prem right now. Hope he'll give him a go because I think he's earned one after his last couple of sub appearances, but I don't see it personally.

Please let Kulu be available, even off the bench.

Hugo
Romero Dier Lenglet
Doc Skipp Bissouma PEH Sess
Kane Son
Also wonder if Richy might be an option off the bench?

Bournemouth have turned their form around a bit but they're still not very good, we should be able to dominate the middle with that midfield and Doc and Sess should nearly be camped in their half.

We need some energy upfront, if we stick with Kane and Son, it'll be another frustrating watch. Whether that energy is Gil / Kulu / Richarlison. If not, our wingbacks need to have man of the match performances if we are to get the win.

Lloris, Doherty, Romero, Dier, Davies, Perisic, Bissouma, PEH, Skipp, Kane, Son is what I think we will line up with but I'd rather have one of the 3 above in for Bissouma. Hopefully Kulu can make the bench so we have the option if we need it in the second half, hopefully we don't.

As brilliant as Bentancur has been, i dont think we can risk him on 4 bookings. Bets time to rest with Marseille & Liverpool.

Lloris

Romero Dier/Lenglet Davies

Doc Bissouma Hojbjerg Sess

Bissouma and Skipp really need to come in for this one. We really need to give Son a rest as well as he's out on his feet plus playing absolute shite. But we have zero options.

We have to rotate a bit against Bournemouth... although it's an important game and they have been good lately. We need the energy-levels to go up again... we can't keep playing games at this rate with roughly the same players. I know we have injuries. But we need some more youth and freshness in. Especially going forward.

Ideally you would just swap one of them, but bother could do with a rest

Lloris
Romero - Lenglet - Davies
Doc - Biss - Skipp - Sess
Gil - Kane - Son
Do we not think he’ll start Emerson because Doherty started the CL game vs Sporting? Or do we think he will play Doherty again so he can then play Emerson in the CL game as Emerson is better defensively and conte trusts him more in big games ?

What would that team look like for Saturday then, if he were to take this approach?
Well if we can’t take a player that started last game and the injury situation stay the same we are left with:

Forster
Emerson Sanchez Lenglet Sessegnon
Spence Bissouma Skipp Sarr White
Gil

Looks competitive!

That team would either score 10 goals or lose by 10 goals - no middle ground ??

Sacrifice this game for the Marseille one. Rest the players who’ll play Tuesday.
Not such a bad idea really, with one Kane exception. We have to make it to the KO stage of the CL.

Maybe go:

Forster
Tanganga Sanchez Lenglet
Emerson Skipp Biss Sess
Gil Kane Lucas
