did he say that tonight?
Think this might change at least once before the game asI just can't decide, but...

I strongly don'tInteresting, Sandro and Lamela aren't fit enough yet and you would drop Townsend?
And Fryers over Naughton, I strongly question that judgement.
AVB has said Rose should make this, and I really hope its the case.
I really would go with a 4-3-3, with Eriksen as a tucked in wide left forward.

I reckon Townsend will start though, and Siggy most likely as well. I'm sure Naughton will be on the bench, and I'm assuming Kaboul won't make it.
But that side is seriously powerful and Paulinho would have less defensive responsibilities and he would have real licence to get forward. Ok Eriksen would be better centrally in between the lines, but I think he could still float inside and cause them problems, with Rose bombing on into the space round the outside.

This is the team I would go for.
I believe that the power base 3 in midfield is best to stifle their flair players and be able to get the ball to our front 3. Sandro holding would enable both Dembele and Paulinho to break forward and support when necessary (and press all game). For big games like this I can see AVB playing 3 out of our 4 CM's (including Capoue) each time.
If we are still level after 60 or trailing we can then bring on some more creativity to make the most of a (hopefully) physical-battered Chelsea line-up. Who that is can depend on how the game is going but Holtby, Siggurdson, Townsend, Chadli and Defoe all bring something different- what great options.
