Gomes

Hutton Dawson Gallas Assou-Ekotto

Lennon Palacios Modric Bale

Crouch Defoe

Subs: Cudicini, Ćorluka, Bassong, Sandro, Giovani, Keane, Pavlyuchenko

This is presuming that nobody comes back from injury (including Bentley and Kranjcar) and that Dawson is considered fit enough to start.

So tempted to suggest dropping the 'e' from our 6th sub as well...

I normally hate this lineup. But the spice aspect are actually all on form at the same time. Amazing but true.

Roll those dice, lets see which Lennon, Defoe, Crouch and Hutton turns up for this one. It's a Sunday game, so lets hope the Spice aspect are good boys on Sat night.

Would be nice to hear a burst of " Only one Ray Wilkins" especially after his comments Tuesday night.

If Daws and Kaboul are fit, I'd start with both of them.
Bassong has done nothing wrong of late and as he has played LB before, I'd place him there and rest BAE.
Kaboul will be good at set-pieces (offensively and defensively), and I'd like to try him out, if fit, in Wilson's place.
Corluka has a better understanding with Lennon.

This is such a big game. I feel the press and fans of other teams are building us up but deep down expecting us to lose. Building us up gives them the chance to say 'same old Spurs' if we fail. If we win this, I believe every other team will really start to fear us. COYS.

No.

and

No.

Not the players, the positions you've put them in. I'm all for trying new things, but not at home to the Champions when 3 points could really kick start our season.

This team.

Why would Harry entertain chopping and changing his defence for a big game, that faired so well for some of the Liverpool game, Brum game and apart from Charlie the Twente game, we conceeded goals in all but Twente game there were a couple of good strikes and a pen. Surely consistency is key where defence is concerned as much as I like Woody, give him game time over the course of a few weeks not after one training game v an Mk Dons side.

Assuming Kranjcar is injured though, didnt he do his hammy in the week. I might also plum for Jenas instead of Wilson but Sgt seems on good form again with a little confidence.

I think Pav might get the nod for this game after being bit part in the last two prem games where Crouchy was preferred in my opinion for tactical reasons.

Harry's not that stupid to start pav and defoe, playing 2 strikers who cant hold retain the ball :-|

He wants the win the game not lose. Should be the same team at liverpool

Gomes

Hutton
Gallas
Kaboul
Ekotto

Lennon
Palacios
Modric
Bale

Crouch

Kranjcar is out with a hammy and I reckon Hutton will get the nod over Charlie as that back four played 7/8 games on the trot.

This will be it I reckon. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that, after playing perhaps his best game for us at home to Chelsea last season, Pavlyuchenko might get the nod ahead of Crouch.

I'd go with this team too. With them having Lampard back and everyone bigging us up for this game (including Drogba) I can only see one result a Chelski win. They will be so up for this game after their recent results, and any time we are expected to win we manage to mess it up. However if we do get a result it will prove just how far we have come on as a team. COYS

RB is interesting and whoever Harry goes for will show who he views as first choice.

Corluka links better with Lennon and he's the better defender of the two in terms of positional sense and reading of the game but he lacks Hutton's pace and agression. Indiviudually Hutton is much better going foward too but again Corluka's understanding with Lennon probably enhances Lennon's performance somewhat and the balance of the right side, given Lennon's ability to help and cover his full back, might be better.

Interesting choices....

I think Hutton is still the man in possession of the RB jersey, he hasn't done much wrong since getting in the side, and chipped in with a couple of goals.

I think he was given a rest against Twente, but I would be surprised if he doesn't start on Sunday.

I agree, and Hutton, Gallas, Kaboul and Ekotto all played several games on the trot together.

But I think it will be Palacios and Modric in CM, with Crouch and Defoe up front.
