FFS....wouldn't fancy us tomorrow if thats the case unless Daws is going to hit the ground running.

Would give Chelsea a lift, and I certainly dont want to see Corluka anywhere near CB.

Our injury situation is boardering on freakish now.

Daws will start at CB

however this is nothing new with Gallas, he's had hamstring problems for most of his playing time with the scum. If you notice he's had them wrapped for most games this season.

Harry might go with Corluka at rb to add a bit more defensive solidity to cover Gallas? If he is out it will be a MASSIVE blow for us but not insurmountable. Dawson and Bassong were magnificent for us last year.

I have generally felt confident against Chelsea for the last 4 or 5 years but this time I just have one of those "spurs" feelings that we will fuck it up!

If we had our full strength side out I would fancy us to beat them at home 7 times out of 10, but missing Hudd and Jenas, Gallas, Kaboul and King as well as VDV, it really does put us up against it.

I like that (in theory) but Harry doesn't think that defensively and certainly won't want to drop Defoe. The problem with that midfield is ball retention and also getting people up to support Pav. Also, the trck to beating chelsea is to turn their defenders and Pav up front just isn't going to to do that.

Good idea and certainly something we could look at for away games, but at home against Chelsea we need to go as attacking as possible.
