I'd love to see Dier at CB along with Vertonghen, but obviously that cant happen with Walker and Naughton missing.

Kaboul will play, but he really shouldn't. He is on a terminal decline.

Stambouli deserves a chance. Capoue is completely out of form and is a huge part of the problem when other teams counter attack us.

Eriksen and Townsend don't deserve to start, neither does Lamela in all honesty, but if Lennon isn't fit, i'd go with Lamela.

Don't even get me started on Adebayor.

Whilst i agree that 4-2-3-1 doesn't work with the players at our disposal, to say Stambouli isn't capable defensively is pretty misinformed.

Also, we sold Sandro because we got a great offer for somebody who is incredibly injury prone, and will never be the player they used to be pre injury.

I didn't say that. I said that the 3 players in front of him and Mason the team that was suggested were incapable of defending.

And it's fine to say we got a great offer for Sandro but right now I would rather have him on 1 leg than Capoue. At least you had the feeling he had some passion for the club.

Promote more of the U21s. At least they will try hard and the game time will only improve them. There isn't really anything to lose dropping anyone from our current squad, we may actually discover a good player! Try to get a good base of young players who were brought through by the club and add some quality on top of that.

That said, we use a tombola to pick the side before every game so it is kind of irrelevant discussing a preference.

I think this would be a fitting time for Poch to bring on the youngsters. That way he would show the first team that if they play like shit, they will be dropped, no matter what. It's not happening, though.

Because he was plagued by injuries, unfortunately.

If he was 100% fit, then I would have shot Levy if he had sold him. I thought the beast was awesome, but even I could see that injuries were a real big big problem....
