-------------------------- Lloris ----------------------------
Dier ------- Fazio -------------- Vertonghen --- Rose
---------- Stambouli ----------- Mason -----------------
-- Lamela --------------Kane------------------ Chadli -
------------------------- Soldado --------------------------

Fazio starts because Dier needs to play RB as Naughton got the red. Chiriches/Kaboul aren't an option for me simply because they are going to put you in shitty situations.

Stambouli partners Mason simply because he knows how to effectively shield a defense and break up play while getting it to players who are adept in attack quickly.

Lamela, Kane and Chadli, I believe, are the attacking three that offer the best form, goal scoring ability and potential goals out of nothing.

Soldado starts because Adebayor shouldn't even sniff the Starting XI at this point and I think Kane needs to play off the striker to get the most out of him.

I would be absolutely delighted if Walker is fit. For me, he is one of the players that really shows heart and will to win. Yes he has made the odd mistake but who hasn't in professional football. He is such a character and we have missed him massively, to have him back in the team is a great thing.

Don't worry you will slagging him off same way when we lose from one of his mistakes

I thought reports are that Walker is back training, and is in line to start after the break - if that is the case, just throw him into the line-up, particularly with Naughton's red. Might as well give him game time ahead of Dier right now - with Dier on the bench, if Walker can't go a full 90.
Well yeah. The Mirror dropped that bit in the Yedlin article. Since its the mirror, it moght not mean anything. The club hasnt said a word, but that doesnt mean anything either since the shower of shit on the field and in the boardroom extends to the pr department(although to be fair, the pr department has been a shower of shit for years now)

So lets assume that walker is fit. We could use some good news here so lets run with it. If Poch doesnt slot Walker right back into the team vs Hull, im going to be pissed. Let Dier and Vlad fight it out for Vertonghen's CB partner.
My final X1 vs hull...well until next friday
Lloris
Walker Dier Vertonghen Davies
Paulinho Stambouli
Chadli
Lamela Soldado Kane

433 with Chadli playing more of a 10 role. Mason's had a nice run of a good amount of games. Dont wanna do a sherwood/bentaleb with him and complately overwork him when first coming into the team. So drop him from the 11 and give him a bit of a rest. Can always bring him on as a sub if needed.

Lloris,
Lennon, Dier, Vertonghen, Davies,
Stamboulli, Mason,
Lamela, Kane, Chadli
Soldado

Lennon at RB & Dier at CB wont do much worse.

I actually dont really slag our players off to be honest. The only player that I truly slag off is Townsend but that is because he isnt good enough to be playing for us in any way.

Get benji in the team, capoue has showered himself in shame recently.

Front 4 of lamela, Chadli, kane, Soldado.

Watch Tommy and Jake play blinders against us. Quite frankly I'd prefer those two in our cm right now over our lot!

Without wanting to sound too sexual must solidify and try and grind this one out.

Lloris

Dier Kaboul Vertonghen Davies

Stambouli Paulinho Dembele

Lamela Chadli

Kane

Big fuckers, load the midfield. It's grim but let's go to war on these fuckers. Offer Paulinho a shot at redemption.

Well I know who I don't want to play.

No Fazio, Capoue, Paulinho, Adebayor.

I wish we still had Holtby.

Let's face it Chiriches can't perform any worse than what we've seen today and he proved in games last season there's a player in there. Capoue I wouldn't lose any sleep if I never saw him in a spurs shirt again, how many tackles did he bottle today? Eriksen doesn't deserve a start on current form

Yes, he can. Have you forgotten the Sunderland and Besiktas matches already. Fazio and Chriches must never play again. Bring in Ball to partner Vertongen.

Pochettino has no history of dropping players out of for so why will he start against hull?

The only player we have who seems to get to the line is Rose, certainly on the left, anyone think of anybody else? Ok I've started thinking that now we've got Davies he could play left back with Rose ahead of him, lets be honest its where Rose started, Redknapp moved him back as we had Bale on the left.
I honestly believe this would give us the width we're missing on the left and Danny would be a real help protecting Davies defensively too.
Perhaps Eriksen in the middle of a three behind kane with Lamela or Chadli or perhaps even Soldado to the right with Mason and Dembele behind them.
Fazio and Vertonghen centre backs with, hopefully, Walker right back otherwise I suppose it's got to be Dier.

:playful: well, the left side is a bit of a quandry :p
I saw Cebellos play there preseason, done a far better Job the what Townsend has done. Then there is Chadli who can play left, but more interestingly, Eriksen can play on the left too and admittedly, he did pretty well when TS moved him there.

The last thing we need is Townsend near the team.

But he can't pass and why do Spurs keep finding players that are shit awful at passing :banghead:
