Pressure is off, id like to see the kids getting a run out tomorrow night. A cameo from Edwards would be great

---------------------------Lloris--------------------------
Walker---------Dier-------------Vertonghen----Rose-
-----------------Wanyama-----Dembele---------------
----Son-----------------Alli------------------Eriksen-----
--------------------------Janssen-------------------------

Subs: Vorm, CCV, Davies, Winks, Lamela, NKoudou, Onomah

I am not really convinced as only Wanyama and maybe the back four have some form. The alternatives haven't really shown more promise tonight though.

I know what you mean, only 30 points out of 33 is it, kinell

No point in throwing loads of kids in , that never helps them , better to give say 2 a chance within a strong side over both last 2 games

Vorm

kWP Toby Jan Davies

Wanyama Onomah

Son Eriksen Dele

I honestly think we should give Sissoko a go at RWB. Done a job there not so long back can't remember who it was against could have been palace.

He only struggles when we ask him to be creative but hes as strong as an ox and quite quick he just can not control a football lol.

Lloris
Alderweild Dier Vertonghen

Sissoko Wanyama Davies

Eriksen Alli Son

Kane

I actually do not think that looks to o bad

Toby is an adaptable player. Wimmer can again do a job left / central. Less disruption with one person playing out of his usual position. There did seem a time when we had few left footers.

Whilst the 4-4-2 I posted yesterday was a bit in jest, thinking about it I think it makes a lot of sense for tonight's game.

As we don't have wing-backs available, let's not pick a team that relies on wing-backs. It would also give us a chance to look at another different formation, which is always useful to have in the locker.

Personally think we should start with 3 at the back with wingbacks as that should be the predominant formation for us ongoing although caveat that with some experiments - prime example being Sissoko at RWB and Eriksen further back if Dembele isn't deemed 100% fit.

If we are getting roasted down the right hand flank then easy to shift Dier across and adopt a flat back four.

I'm just not sure what we gain from playing Sissoko at RWB. He's almost certainly not going to be here next season and even if he is he almost certainly won't ever be played at wing back.

If we do insist on going either 5-3-2 then Sissoko is probably the best option, but I'd rather see us just go for it tonight considering it's a game that really doesn't matter.

Lesniak and Shashoua have been called into the match day squad for tonight's game.

Lesniak makes sense with Dembele likely to play 45 mins max.

Not sure Shashoua will get a game, but if he's the one who's available then good luck to him!

I do agree - difficult to draw any meaningful conclusions from these two fixtures which in all intents and purposes will be played akin to a friendly.

NIce to see Lesniak and Shashoua brought into the fold anyhow.
