Next game already on Wednesday.

GK: Lloris - without a doubt, sorry Brad

Defense:
Walker on the right seems certain.
But the rest? Vertonghen on the left or in the centre? Dawson or Gallas, who can cope better with Suarez?

Midfield:
If Sandro is okay he is a no brainer, wouldn't like to see Livermore there. Bale on the left and Lennon on the right should be nailed as well. Then I hope Dembele is playing next to Sandro and do some good moving and creating, enough of Huddlestone for the moment.

Rafa position:
Three options: Dembele, Sig, Dempsey
Dembele seems to be needed deeper and Dempsey showed something of quality today. I have to say that I am desperat to see Sigurdsson doing well for us. Had high hopes when he joined us and don't want to believe that he isn't good enough. Maybe his time will come when Adebayor is with us regulary.

Striker:
One option - Defoe. I think a bit lucky that he didn't see the second yellow today.

So this is what I expect:

--------------LLoris---------------
Walker-Gallas-Caulker-Verts--
---------Sandro-Dembele------
Lennon--------Demps-----Bale----
------------Defoe---------------

Subs: Friedel - Naughton, Dawson, Livermore, Huddlestone, Sigurdsson, Carroll
(maybe Mason/ Townsend/ Falque on the bench for a defensiv player, we lack of offensiv opportunities. )

Pretty much agree. Do we really need to play Gallas though? Sorry, William, but you've been a bit amifahkingbovvered this season.

Totally agree with the team and I expect everybody will, although the only question will be whether AVB decides to start Dembele, how long did he get today? 10 minutes or so....

Might be on the bench again, and if he is perhaps Carroll will be considered, Liverpool's midfield isn't exactly powerful.

edit - only debatable selection may be Gallas, for some.

Yeah I am not sure about that one. After todays game there is a bit Dawson love coming back, but I don't know if he is perfect to cover Suarez. I hope so but Dawson made some mistakes in the Euro League already.
Maybe Walker-Caulker-Vertonghen-Naughton?

A hard one for me, Kaboul and Assou are missing..

The one thing I worry about with Liverpool is there right hand side given we have Vertonghen at LB who doesn't like getting back when up field. Johnson is very good going forward, and Sterling is certainly a lively threat.

Good point about the RHS guys. Maybe having a more stay at home FB in Naughton, at least have a body back there that needs getting roung wouldn't be a bad idea. I'd also feel more comfy having Verts and Caulker in the middle against Ratface. Were Carroll still trundling around with his elbows and ponytail then Daws would be a no-brainer.

Enrique has been fantastic playing as a LM for Liverpool. He's come up huge for them and has consistently made brilliant runs. I actually think Liverpool are quite dangerous and have plenty of goals in them. I worry that with our tendency to lose attackers on runs at times that we could put ourselves into some scary moments with the way Suarez/Enrique have looked in attack.

---------------------------- Lloris ------------------------------
Walker -------- Dawson ------ Caulker ------- Vertonghen
----------------- Dembele ----- Sandro ----------------------
Lennon ---------------- Dempsey --------------------- Bale
---------------------------- Defoe ------------------------------

I'd be tempted to play Naughton, but he's looked so shaky with pace coming at him while he's been at LB. That doesn't bode well against Sterling. I think I'd go with a guy who's more steady at CB in his positioning (at least history would suggest) which is why I picked Dawson over Gallas.

All said and done, I think that's the team I would plump for.

Liverpool have let in very few goals recently as well, we'll have to play well to win that's for sure. Bang on about Enrique, will be interesting to see what Rodgers does there as well, he might revert to playing him at LB against us though - they know our threat comes from our wide men usually. He's a strong fucker and I don't seen Lennon getting much change out of him and Walker will need to continue on with today's performance.

Bring in Dembele or Carroll for Huddlestone, that's it.

Hudd shouldn't start this match considering they will have Allen, Suarez(who drops deep in to midfield) and Sahin as I fear we may see a repeat of the Arsenal match with Hudd caught in no mans land (due to their agility) and Sandro exposed because of this

West Ham arent a very agile team whereas Liverpool have alot of agile players other than that same team with Carroll instead of Hudd. Dembele doesnt need to be rushed back especially when you consider he didnt have surgery on his injury and will require time to manually heal

The back 4 were excellent today and should stay the same against Liverpool. Gallas shouldn't be let anywhere near the 1st XI, well past his sell by date.

Only change would be Dembele for Huddlestone.

Well said, that's the team for me

would be wrong to play Gallas IMHO

yes Suarez will be a problem, but I think it would be wrong to drop Daws

I wanna see AVB try wingbacks, just to get bale running down

-----------Lloris----------
----Daws Caulker Vert--
Walker-----------------Bale
-----Sandro---Hudd------
Lennon Defoe Dembele

But this will be his team come Wed:
------------Lloris-------------
Walker -Daws -Caulker-Vert
Lennon-Sandro-Dembele-Bale
------------Dempsey---------
------------ Defoe ------------

the guy's choice of tactics and personnel is getting on my nerves until he dropped Gallas for Daws yesterday

Lloris
Walker - Dawson - Caulker - Vertonghen
Sandro - Dembele
Lennon - Dempsey - Bale
Defoe
Same as yesterday but Dembele in for Hudd if he's fit, if not then I'd be tempted to play Carroll. Think Liverpool's midfield three would just pass it round Hudd and he'll be stood in the middle of the park like an oil tanker.
Dawson 100% should keep his place ahead of Gallas also

Saw liverpool yesterday and i feel they will definately cause us problems, they have improved as the season has gone on and we have to be right on our game to win this one.

Same team for me as sundays except Dembele for Hudd...lets face it, he is still in better shape than tommy despite being out for so long and is vital for us.

Does anyone remember how Aguero made a mug out of Dawson in the 5-1 defeat to Man City last season?

Suarez is likely to do the same thing if we start Dawson ahead of Gallas.
