2 yellows is a 1 match ban, straight red is a 3 match ban

depends on the offence, professional foul is 1 match.

Jermain Defoe, Not As Good As Keano.

or, Jermaine Defoe, He's a yiddo. Got injured, so we bought Keano

also Palacios is not shown on the FA list of suspended players (or players awaiting suspension) so i assume he has served his ban.

I dislike the Barcodes and spammers with passion. I think we will beat them .. BUT JUST !!! But idf we have Wilson back .. i CAN SEE US GIVING THEM A GOOD GAME AND WINNING IT JUST .. LIKE 2-1. The last time we played them we were not focussed enough ! h Harry running the show he will want us to get into Europe ... Come on Spurs !!!

palacios is back for sunday, it was only a 1 match ban. he served a 2 match ban for 10 yellow cards, and is now on 12. the 1 match ban was for getting 2 yellow cards in 1 match, but he won't serve another ban until he picks up another 3 yellow cards (which will most probably happen before the end of the season.

same team except JJ in for Hudd and Pav in for Bent. Defoe on the bench. COYS!

Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas is a major doubt to face his former club Newcastle on Sunday after suffering a hamstring injury last week.

Jenas picked up the complaint in the Premier League win over West Ham, although Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has Wilson Palacios back from suspension to face Alan Shearer's side.

Elsewhere in his team, Redknapp admits goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is staking a claim to be his number one, despite the arrival of Carlo Cudicini in January to add competition.

"He was excellent against West Ham," Redknapp said. "Potentially he is the top goalkeeper. I've got two good goalkeepers.

"I think Cudicini is a very good goalkeeper and has been unlucky not to be playing. This fella has done well so I stayed with him."

Club skipper Ledley King remains on course to play in the remainder of the games this season as they are spaced out enough for him to rest his knee.

King has revealed how Sol Campbell, who is now a target for Spurs fans after going on to play for Arsenal, was his inspiration when he started at White Hart Lane.

"Obviously Sol Campbell was in my position, an East End kid like me, so it made me think I could achieve that as well," King said on premierleague.com.

"I think the thing I learned from Campbell was that he came through a similar path as I did. So that gave me the belief that I could do the same."

good opportunity to try hudd + palacios now against decent but not exactly hard opposition - Newcastle have been very poor for most of the season but are still game-raisers (eg against Man Utd and le Arse for one half) and a bogey team for us, so it's a good test

would definitely want JJ+Palacios against man utd though

im worried about this game..we dont have the best record against newcastle and it would be typical spurs to lose this.

Looks like Viduka is going to start. THANK GOD Gomez is better than Robbo at his long shots.

Can't see him getting the better of our defense any other way apart from long shots.

I agree about that espicially as teams and players and managers always seem to break theire ducks against us. I.e It would be typical of our past records for Shearer to get his 1st win as a manager against us!

On another note Viduka always score against us when he returns from an injury and guess what?..........................he is expected to play, the first game since early March!!!:bang:

I think Bents pace might unsettle the Newcastle defence so I would probably go with him up front with Keane.
Pav and Defoe can always come off the bench if things need freshened up.
Really hope Jenas is fit to play as Butt can be a busy little bugger but he must be a major doubt.
If he can't play then I would go with Palacios and Zokora for this one because Newcastle will battle for every ball.
