think he will go with Soldado up top instead of Ade... think he played Ade against West Ham so we can hit the target man if needed.. try and hold the ball up..try and hit them on the counter... against QPR at home I think we will have more of the ball.. more play in and around the box.. perfect for Soldado.

Capoue is obviously a must start it what I assume will be a CM2 because of his defensive work and his forward passing. For the second spot, would people rather see Bentaleb or Dembele?

Anyone know how far off match fitness Sandro is. Shame he didn't play last night.

If Dembele is fit he's our best all round midfielder imo. That 'if' is huge though...

If Sandro is fit I know which i'd rather have in the side.

With Capoue though? I'd be a bit worried who out of those two was going to be actually getting the ball into our attacking players.

I suspect that's a moo point (it's moo) because it appears Sandro is either not fit, or not in Poch's plans.

Based on last year's performances I'd go with Bentaleb ahead of Dembele, but if Dembers can get back to his best he's much the better player.

No idea if Davies can play right back.

Clearly not, but Capoue is far from an automatic starter. I'd go with Bentaleb too, he's the best passer of the ball out of all of the central midfielders we have.

I like the 3-5-2 posted above.

Lloris
Dier - Kaboul - Vertonghen
Lennon - Eriksen - Capoue - Dembele - Rose
Lamela
Ade/Bobby

Bit harsh to drop Kane/Bentaleb but they have played all 180 minutes so far. With a squad this big there's no need to overplay anyone.

I think the team picks itself to a large extent at the moment but I would like to see Lamela and Soldado start together to see if this apparent good connection can start to build into something.

My selection based on quality of opposition in last league game and EL tie, amount of training completed so far

----------------------Lloris------------------------
---Dier-------Kaboul----------Vertonghen----Rose---
--------------Capoue--------Bentaleb--------------
----Lamela------------Eriksen-----------Lennon--------
---------------------Adebayor------------------------

I would personally hope that Chadli and Dembele are serious consideration for starting positions
The Soldier will get 30 minutes at least

I think that's a fair point. But at the moment I would have Capoue in there. I think he's the more likely long term option than Sandro, which then leaves a choice between Bentaleb and Dembele.
