Toby was born in Antwerp. I would expect his experience and knowledge of his fellow countrymen will be needed on the pitch.
Why? He has never played club football in Belgium. It's like saying Real Madrid would need Bale's knowledge of Cardiff if those two clubs were to face each other.

If the match is resolved, remove Lo Celso and Reguilon to start on Sunday.

Our team is strong and deep enough to rotate a lot of players so we are fresh for the weekend. Brighton will not be an easy game on Sunday.

Hart
Aurier - Sanchez - Dier - Reguilon
Winks - Hojbjerg
Bale - Lamela - Bergwijn
Vinicius

Lucas in for Bergwijn if Bergwijn still has a knock. I'd like to see Dele but I won't pick him as a starter until Jose at least puts him in the squad.

Reguilon and GLC shouldn't be anywhere near a starting eleven for this match. Far too important for us in the league. We should have more than enough quality to get points out of this match without them.

I disagree. GLC needs minutes to build his fitness and sharpness and Reguillon is still adapting to the team. Not playing either of them in the EL because we want to save them for the premier league is not going to help us longterm. We have a short turn around from the Burnley game to the Antwerp game and we need to spread those minutes across the team or risk burning out the likes of PEH and Davies.

Like for most, full rotation. We need one of the CBs to play, Toby would probably like to play, but with his head getting a smash on monday, probably best to give him a game off.
I'd play Bale on the left in stead of right as I don't think he got the legs to follow their very attacking left back.

Hart
Aurier - Dier (c) - Sanchez - Reguilón
Lo Celso - Winks
Bergwijn - Dele - Bale
Vinicius

I just don't want them to start and save them as much as possible, as we have a more important game to win on Sunday.

Davies will not be burned out by playing 2 games in a week. I don't see much lack of fitness or sharpness wrt Gio either.

The only time we should take this approach to any upcoming fixture is after we've qualified out of the group stages of the Europa league and have 1 or 2 dead rubber games left. We've invested smartly this season to have a squad capable of challenging on all fronts. Why go through the arduous process of playing those qualifying games in Moldova and Bulgaria just to approach this game against Antwerp with little to no respect for the opposition? You saw how we struggled in those games when we thought the opposition would just bend over and let us have it. Let's not make the same mistakes now.

If he starts it would be his 3rd game in 8 days. When this was about Kane we were all upset that we didn't have a backup so that he could sit out a game.

Incredible to see what the alternative team would be. Just add Kane, Son and we could win the Europa League with these players without wearing out other starters.
