So many muscle injuries atm. Seeing Fabinho limp off makes me think we should rotate absolutely everyone we can.

Maybe we see Lamela in for Bergwijn if Bergwijn is still injured.

I can definitely see this as the team. Not sure Alderweireld is going to play 3 games in a row. The alternative is for Davies to play LCB instead of Dier again. but that will depend on Antwerp's forward line.
This could be the time for Alli to show what he can do, along with the other 3 in forward positions. Hopefully Vinicius will get his first goal/s for us.

Our team is strong and deep enough to rotate a lot of players so we are fresh for the weekend. Brighton will not be an easy game on Sunday.

Hart
Aurier - Sanchez - Dier - Reguilon
Winks - Hojbjerg
Bale - Lamela - Bergwijn
Vinicius

Lucas in for Bergwijn if Bergwijn still has a knock. I'd like to see Dele but I won't pick him as a starter until Jose at least puts him in the squad.

But will be easy on a Monday

Do we know if Stevie B is injured or just wasn’t in the squad for Sunday game at Burnley?

My concern is any of our player contracting Covid which would put them out of action for at least two weeks.

On the 7th nov we are playing WBA after playing on the Thursday ( 2 days ) does anybody know if there will be a a change to Sunday or Monday . After the Antwerp game on Thursday we play on the Sunday (3 days ) which is the norm .
Its unfair to play Thursday then Saturday .

They probably just haven’t decided what time on Sunday it’ll be yet on ppv so have left it on Saturday until they amend it. Not a cat in hell’s chance we play on Saturday after a Europa fixture.

My asks for Thursday;

Rest - Kane, Son, PEH, Lloris, GLC, NDB

Don't play Aurier and Sanchez next to each other.

Win.

I'd go:
Hart
Doherty Sanchez Dier Davies
Sissoko Winks
Bale Dele Bergwijn
Vinigoal
I'd prefer us to save Reguilon and GLC for the league: they're 2 of our most important players and we shouldn't be tiring them out midweek.

I wouldn't mind us playing Lamela instead of Dele or Aurier instead of Doherty, but again I think I'd prefer them to be fresh for Brighton.

Dier, Rodon, and Tanganga aren't available for selection. So we'll either see Sanchez or Davies partnered at CB with Toby.

Hopefully TN is just about being SUPER precautious. Would hate to see him having put in all that hard work, just to pick up yet another nagging injury that keeps him out three or four weeks.

I think Davinson will partner with Davies for this game at CB.

Hart

Aurier
Davinson
Davies
Reggie

Winks
Lo Celso

Bale
Dele
Stevie B (or Clarke if not quite fit enough yet)

Vincius

Bottom line is, we already have one win under our belt in the group stages. We have no reason to risk playing too many of the chaps who played on Monday night. It's a bloody nice luxury to have. As I look at that starting XI and I'd hardly call that the dregs:
Former England starting goalkeeper, and the man with the most amazing hair in the world.
Ivory Coast starting RB and Captain.
Columbia's starting CB
Wales starting LCB or LB
Spain starting LB
England squad midfielder
Argentina squad midfielder
Wales captain and starting attacker and one of the top 10 players in the world.
Dele
Holland squad attacker
Portuguese league leading scorer last season.

Yep, they ain't dregs.
