Wanyama and Dier seems like overkill for a midfield of Imbula and Whelan. I think Imbula is decent on his day, but overall he's not someone I would truly devise a very defensive midfield about.

Not far off at all from my perspective. I think this is my team apart from maybe Wanayama in for Dier.....(I have adopted him).

Going for strength on the ball and pace on and off the ball.

Friend of mine (the same guy who attended a lot of Marseille games and gave me the Batshuayi info from earlier in the summer) doesn't think N'Koudou will start yet. Says he has the potential to be "very good but is slight and will need building up" also said he was "naive" but that it was nothing that Pochettino couldn't fix.

I'd hardly say he was our most consistent players... against Liverpool he only completed 22 passes in 90 mins.. that's pretty poor considering how much our fullbacks receive the ball.. In fairness no-one has really played well compared to last seasons form.. I'm just not that big a fan of Danny.. his crossing does my head in, he has been slow to get back into position as well so far this season, throw in the giving away of needless free-kicks & it just grates the Fook out of me... but I can see why it might seem unfair to drop him & not others.. it's just my preference.. I don't think he will be dropped though so my opinion doesn't really matter.
