Well to be fair to Poch...

..that wouldn't be a surprise- Clinton probably isn't match fit given his injury and Son has probably had at most 2 training sessions and a trip to Asia in between signing and the sunderland game.

I'm getting ready for the meltdown when they both don't start, but the decision not to start two players when taking their circumstance in to account, wouldn't be that illogical.

Probably in a minority with that view though.

Yeah true. I think it's just frustrating considering the poor football we've been producing. I guess it is a case of being patient but the performances of the large majority of players we do have don't fill me with any optimism at all if I'm brutally honest. In fairness to some of them I think they would flourish in a different sort of approach to the way we play but that's just my opinion.

I'd rather we finished 5th. Imo it's important we get into habits playing good or bad we finish as high as possible.

I want to enjoy watching us again playing attacking exciting football something we haven't done for a long time.
We may have finished 5,6,5 in the last 3 season but I've not enjoyed watching us grind out narrow wins it not what spurs should be about

So would you prefer us to finish 8-10 but playing exciting football?

Our football has been progressive imo were still one of the most attractive footballing teams in the EPL.

What a stupid point, of course I want us to win but is a little adventure and flair to much to ask for?
Dull disjointed football doesn't = wins as attacking adventurous football doesn't = loses.

I don't think it's a silly point. Furthermore I don't see our football as being dull or disjointed.

The point I was trying to make with this especially with this young squad, too understand how to win game game playing good or bad.
At the end of the day people remember winners.

It's not impossible.

I think Kane should rest for this one. I know he won't, but I believe he should.

The player himself is chomping at the bit to get back to the prem and start scoring. He said so in an interview after the England game -

You want to take that determination and feel good factor he has and rather than unleash it against the worst side in the league you would sit him on the bench and deny him the best chance he has had to get on the score sheet so far?

hmmm.

Exactly.
Playing 'good' football over a period of time will win you more games
than playing poorly and getting the occasional success.
You will have to define 'good' for yourselves of course
but most will agree on what it consists of.
Competent players ,moving the ball quickly and positively
and passing regularly to a player in the same coloured shirt.

So, basically, you want us to win all our games playing sexy, exciting football.

You're not asking for much then.

According to physioroom Eriksen, Dembele and Andros are out for two more days, both Dembele and Andros can be seen in the latest OS training video but no sign of Eriksen so its a pretty good bet that he wont feature on Sunday. I would guess that ether Mason (with Nabil and Dier at MC) or Lamela will play AMC unless Dembele is 100%. I very much doubt Poch will start Pritch until the EL. I'm sure Son will start.

.....................................Lloris...............................................

Trippier.............Toby...................Verts.........................Rose

.....................................Dier.....................................................

......................Son.........................Mason.................................

...................................Eriksen..................................................

....................Kane.........................Chadli...................................

Subs:
Vorm
Bentaleb
Alli
Carroll
Pritchard
N'Jie
Lamela

No need for a defender on the bench as Dier can go RB if Tripier gets injured and Verts LB (Dier in CB) is Rose is injured - lots of attacking options and some pace on the bench, I can also see the 4-4-2 become 4-3-3 (Son LWF and Eriksen CM3) is needed
