doubt defoe can work up top by himself, so 3 behind need to push up when he have the ball as much as poss, especially niko who is more a striker dropping deep than midfield in that formation

that will probably be the team (re first post), with the usual king doubts, bassong coming in if need be. Perhaps lennon will start instead of bentley if hes ready.

I would go with Pav or Gudjohnson instead of crouch, but doubt harry will.

I'm worried about the state of their pitch. It's a real mess, almost a throw back to the 70's.

I'd like to see this. Not so worried if Modric plays instead of Kranjcar though.

Defoe would be useless on his own, he goes walkabouts on away games as it is.

Crouchy will start (and score!)
it'll be the same as normal with hopefully Lennon on bench getting a few mins at the end or 20 if we really need him.

Really hoping Crouch get's dropped. He hasn't been great lately, and I'd love to see either Pav of even Gudjohnsen given a go. We cut Wigan open with some good football at the Lane, and although their pitch might be shit, we should still be able to play some good stuff. If Lennon is fit and ready to go I'd like to see him come on if Wigan have decided to park the bus and we're struggling. Him and Crouch on at the 60 minute mark.
