Lets be honest, we all know there is no chance Poch drops Trippier and Davies even though he should. So with that in mind

Lloris
Trippier Toby Sanchez Davies
Dier Winks
Lamela Dele Eriksen
Kane

Gazzaniga, Aurier, KWP, Sissoko, Dembele, Son, Lucas

I think Lamela has to start in this one, given his form of late

Then I'd still have Moura in the team as he gives us a directness in attack, which others don't

Finally, you have a conundrum between Son, Alli and Eriksen. For me, Alli edges it which leaves two great impact subs

Need a good win on Saturday, so we can really start to kick up a gear as our fitness and form returns

We get Winks and Kane firing on all cylinders and we'll shoot up the table

COYS!!

Lloris, Davies, Dier, Sissoko, Lamela, Dele, Kane

think Foyth deserves more game time TT, but to take him out of his position at the moment might not benefit him. yes he showed some qualities that would be good as a DM, but his defensive quality as a CB totally outweighed what I think he could bring as a DM.

This is based on sanchez needing a rest and Dier being injured. Also dele just back and lamela being nursed. Also find it very hard to drop sissoko and this may be another game that suits him like city. Wolves aren’t the biggest and his physical presence may help. Also if sissoko can maintain his form would be a big plus going into December with so many games.I’d also be brave and give winks the deep playmaker role in a 3.

Lloris
Trippier foyth alderweireld davies
Sissoko winks eriksen
Moura Kane Son

Bench: gazza sanchez aurier dembele lamela dele llorente.

Fluid midfield, lots of goals, full backs to play a bit more defensive to keep us solid.

Don’t want this to sound bad but hope Dier is out as desperate to see winks play the holding role. Think it would totally transform us as a team. Could be one of those injury blessings similar to bale and dele getting their chances.

Hugo

Aurier, Foyth, Toby, Davies

Dier, Winks

Lamela, Eriksen, Son

Kane

Subs: Gazza, Trip, Sanchez, Alli, Dembele, Sissoko, Moura

Don't wanna risk Sanchez injury by playing him 4 days after he played twice in 2 days, save him for PSV, Foyth showed he can play so give him a go against Wolves.

If Dier isn't fit then put in Dembele.

I’m amazed at how many people are dropping Lamela. He’s been our best player recently and just because him missed one chance has now been relegated back to the bench. He has earned his place in the starting 11.

How can you be amazed? A lot of people here clearly have an irrational dislike for Lamela, and not too long ago they were claiming he should have an impact sub role at best.

I do think, however, that if all five of Eriksen, Dele, Son, Lucas and Lamela are available, that non of them should be expecting to start all matches from now on. They all bring something different and important to the table, and Pochetino will have to use them accordingly.

Right players in the midfield and attack but I reckon chuck Lamela on the right, Lucas on the left, and dele into the middle or on the left edge of a midfield 3 with winks at the base. Winks showed that he was more than capable of playing that role against city, whilst still progressing the ball forward. Give him the responsibility to take control of that midfield. Adds so much creativity and ability. If rose is fit, then he starts at LB, with aurier at RB.

I actually think he has been very ineffective the last 3 or 4 games and makes us so much more predictable in attack as his movement off the ball is quite poor compared to Lamela/Dele/Eriksen/Son. I can see him being more effective as an impact sub, with Dele/Eriksen/Lamela behind Son or Kane.

I prefer Rose when hes fit but based on his last performance i saw no reason to drop Davies who was rock solid.

Wolves are a technically sound team and we need to pick a side accordingly.

Ball players to the fore -

Lloris

Sanchez Toby Foyth

Aurier Rose
Winks Eriksen

Lamela Son

Lucas

Subs
Gazza - better than Vorm
Davies
KWP
Dele - chance to recover further
Dier - ditto with groin injury
Sissoko -
Kane - time to rest and re-discover best form

Wouldn’t you love a Gattuso or Vinny Jones you could throw in there, just for fun. A bit of pure animal who would step on a few metatarsals or put a stud into somebody’s Achilles - just to soften up some of these ‘technical’ players.

The game is getting too soft.

Crazy this time last year we just had Eriksen Son dele as options. Lamela and moura make such a difference depth wise. When you also add in Rose winks wanyama foyth alderweireld the squad is actually in a much better place than this time last year bar vertoghen.
