Harry said in his after-match interview that he would be making changes to 'freshen the team up'. Suspect that means Cudicini, Livermore, Nelsen, King, Saha and Defoe starting.

Yeah Agreed,

I think the spine of Gallas, Parker and Adebayor needs to be protected, maybe even Bale as well.

Is Lennon going to be back for this, if he is something like this maybe:

Friedel

Walker
Kaboul
King
Ekotto

Lennon
Livermore
Modric
Kranjcar

Saha
Defoe

I can't believe anyone would want 2 defensive midfielders for this game.

Bolton play our prefered style of football these days so we really need to play our quick tempo passing game.

Cudicini
Walker----Nelsen----King----Ekotto
Lennon----Sandro----Modric----Bale
VDV
Defoe

If Lennon doesn't make it I would start Gio in from the right.

4-3-3 again please

I would like the same, don't expect it to happen though. However 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 will be alright for this game, and Harry does intend to mix it up a little so you would expect Defoe to start.

Strong back four, rotate King in for Gallas.
A solid central pair in centre mid to balance out playing two strikers plus Lennon and Kranjcar.

To me winning the FA Cup is a top priority, easily equal to CL qualification (would've been bigger if it wasn't for the fact I feel we really need it this year to get the financial confidence to bridge the gap with a couple of top signings). Early game on Saturday and then Swansea Sunday means it's not too much stress to play 3 games in 9 days for most players.

Hence: The top guns for this one:

Friedel

Walker Gallas Kaboul Ekotto

Lennon (VDV) Sandro Modric Bale

VDV (Defoe)

Ade

The one thing I would possibly like to see tried out that I never really thought of before, though, is Livermore in RM. Why? Defensive support to Walker; no need to drift in; and he's actually quite pacy as well. Think he could work nicely with Walker, and I just want someone that is quick enough to defend properly AND have a go at the outside of the fullback, and with Kranjcar, GDS, possibly Modric and VDV the all somewhat suboptimal choices it could be something to try. But if we do I'd take Parker in for Sandro.
