indeed. sit there and take the beating sandro instead of trying to make things happen. off with your head.

With Modric and bale swanning around like a couple of fucking girls, Sandro needs to be sat infront of that back four and yesterday he was everyway but.

Why is when someone gets criticised for having an off day, everybody takes it that you are suggesting he is crap end of. Sandro does his job there is nobody better at it.

well i don't think he started doing that until we were 4/5-2 down, may aswell risk losing more goals to try and help the team get back into the game.

Friedel

Walker - Kaboul - Dawson - Assou-Ekotto

Modric - Sandro

Lennon - Van der Vaart - Bale

Adebayor

Subs
Cudicini Nelson Rose Livermore GDS Saha Defoe

This would be my first choice (King needs a rest again). However, it depends on whether our injured few (VdV, Sandro, Lennon) are truly fit or not, as we can't afford for 3 out of 5 midfielders to be off the pace. Saha/Defoe for VdV and Livermore for Sandro would be the obvious replacements; Lennon must play - we've really missed the width that he gives us.

VDV is out of the Holland game, withdrew today so unlikely he will be fit for Sunday. King is also very unlikely along with Walker. We have replacements for VDV (Saha) and Kind (Dawson) but Walker is a problem. Dont fancy Jake at RB against Nani or Giggs. Maybe we will play Kaboul at RB and Nelson center with Daws?

if parker wasnt so stupid we could have just played modric in the VDV role and look solid

I'd agree that it would almost certainly be Kaboul at Right Back and Nelsen in the centre.

VDV has picked up another knock, this time to his ankle, I cant see him making it with this combination of injuries and lack of sharpness.

Dawson was just passing on instructions from Harry to Sandro, if the manager has told him to sit he should fucking sit until told otherwise.

Agree though that Sandro should start against Man U hopefully the rust was blown off yesterday.

livermore - dawson - kaboul - ekotto

if walker and king are out. shame we don't have charlie or bassong still with us  actually, where's the king stuff coming from? he only went off yesterday as there was no point in keeping him on at 5-2 down.

Really need Sandro to put in some big performances in the next few games, lets hope he has the discipline to match his talent.

I think discipline is the main doubt about Sandro. He's still young though so hopefully it's something he will learn.

i don't know where this sandro stuff has come from either, his biggest problem is getting off the treatment table and onto the pitch.

Sandro is more disciplined than Parker, Parker constantly goes running up the pitch on a mad un, Sandros actually better in attack if you ask me too.

Then again i think Sandros the better player.

Thats not saying Parker isn't amazing, it's saying Sandro is amazing +1

True, but i also think that he lacks discipline at times. He showed it last season against Chelsea when he scored and got a bollocking from Harry for being to far forward and he showed a lack of discipline yesterday.

Regarding Walker and VDV being out of the international friendly, fingers crossed they've only been withdrawn as a precaution and that we see them fit on Sunday.

that's not actually true. harry said after the game that it had nothing to do with him being high up the pitch, he just simply didn't want him following lampard around in our defensive third but instead to just hold his position and then pick him up. perhaps i'm trying to recreate yesterday's game in my head, but whilst i thought sandro was poor(possibly unfit) i only thought he started to vacate his position at 4-2 or 5-2 down, you might as well risk losing another goal in the hope of getting your team back into the game.

No Kaboul, when he's been our best CB all year. BAE had a rare shite game yesterday, but won't have two.
