Give Son a rest, would like to give Kane a rest too but not sure Vinny is the answer to a PL game...

Any body suggesting that Kane or Son should be dropped are in my opinion wrong tho not on fire when you look at our goalscoring chance Son and or Kane were involved . It is just that no player is pie hot every game . They are both just as likely to be match winners on Sunday .
And by the way those calling for " shattered Son and Kane " to be rested just who would you like to play in there place ?
For me no Son and Kane then chances are dramatically reduced . Tired or not they must play for me the tiredness solution would be in an ideal world would be lets say a two goal lead then take them off for a rest .
One of the last things I want to see is Kane and Son on the bench then brought on late in the game to try and draw or win a game .
If they are fit enough to come on at any time in the game then you must start with them IMO

Hugo
Aurier - Sanchez - Toby - Reguilon
Lo Celso* - Hojbjerg
Lamela - Dele - Lucas
Kane

Subs: Hart, Dier, Davies, Ndombele, Bergwijn, Son, Bale.

*is he even fit?

Realistically Son and Ndombele are going to need a rest soon, it'll be either Sunday or Thursday. In an ideal world I wouldn't be resting anyone, but that's how you kill people.

Whilst Son does look a bit knackered you have accept he made the goal & had some of our best efforts on goal otherwise, so against CP is not the time to rest him we're going to need our best players out there especially as Zaha is back for them.

May rest him in Europe, although if we do Kane needs to play.

It just has to be, pity we can't find more legs/quality in cm but ND and Hoijberg looked done in on Thursday.

Coaches dont kill people. Rappers do.

Same team as Thursday except bring back the A team fullbacks. Sub off any 3 of Harry, Son, PEH or Tanguy after 60 minutes if we are comfortable. Difficult situation, but play the best team now, cos we need to win the games over the next couple of weeks to there won't be any point trying to keep players fresh as the ones after won't really matter.

Im beginning to feel Jose will pick Lamela over Bale. He’s a pragmatic manager by nature, so with Zaha back, I think he’ll want that extra work rate to help at the back as well as going forward

Maybe give Gareth 20 minutes to close out the game (depending on if we're winning or not).
We don't close out the game any more. These days it's called sitting back and inviting pressure or negative and boring tactics. When Mourinho is sacked it'll be called closing out the game again :D

I’ll be honest, I’m unsure on personnel, but I know that 3 points is vital as we must maintain momentum.

I’d go with

Hugo
Aurier - Sanchez - Toby - Reguilon
Ndombele - Hojbjerg
Bale - Lamela - Son
Kane

I’d rest Dele for Lamela and start Dele on Thursday. I’d reward Lamela with a start and challenge him to produce the same output as he did against Fulham from a starting place.

if Toby can’t play, I’d start Rodon alongside Sanchez.

Lo Celso is back training building up his fitness.
Team news for Fulham, Jose said he hoped he would be available next week.

Might see him on the bench midweek?

Same starters as today with serge and reggie back into the full back positions, give bale and dele and other 60 mins. Home to palace hopefully they will do enough damage by then!
By 60 mins we will be 1-0 up, lost the initiative and will have 11 men behind the ball.

Just imagine Zaha against Doherty and Davies
Thank God Aurier and Reggie will be playing. Hope so anyway.
