Vorm
Trippier Foyth Dier Rose
Wanyama
Sissoko Winks
Lucas Kane Son

Lloris, Davies, KWP, Sanchez, Dele, Eriksen, Llorente

Lucas and Son both seem likely to start, given they came off the bench against Palace. I have a feeling Kane will be pushing to start to add to his season goal tally. Sissoko is the wild card for me - I would not start him, but I think Poch will. Could see Lamela instead of Llorente on the bench - which would allow Poch to experiment with Son up top when he takes Kane off. But, if Llorente or Sissoko do not make the match-day squad - they are done for the season, barring injury.

It's at Wembley
Transportation links are usually the issue for canceling a match. I have friends from Huddersfield who were going to meet me in Wembley for the game on Saturday but they have already canceled the trip due to forecast in weather and I would say Wednesday night could be the worst of it?

KWP Foyth Dier Rose

Wanyama Winks

Moura Lamela Son

Kane
Gazza; Sanchez; Davies; Alli; Sissoko; Llorente; Sterling

I'd have Trippier no where near this. If he gets injured, and with the doubts about Toby and Jan, we could end up with a back 4 of KWP Sanchez Dier Davies against Juve.

Kane to start and if we're comfortable give Sterling some minutes.

Rest pick themselves.

I would agree with that except we could have said exactly the same thing when we played Newport and yet we did exactly the same thing again when we went to Rochdale. It’s like we don’t learn our lessons. So let’s try something different, play strong team to start and take 3 of them off and play passing game keep ball when we have a good lead? Yes that might be a couple of players who can stay in the team, but for me Llorente is not one of them, he has been given two great chances to prove himself and did nothing.

and what do we do for the rest of the season if we have to take them off due to season ending injuries?

I know Kane scored on Sunday, but I thought he looked very tired. we have Huddersfield Saturday then Juventus on Wednesday. I want us to win the FA Cup, and I'm sure Poch does too, but we can't afford to be as fresh as we can in every league game, and as strong as possible in every CL match. last season we did shit in the groups and everyone moaned, and that was mainly because we couldn't field a strong XI. now we have a great chance to pull 4-5 points clear of Chelsea (unless they win of course) and get to the CL quarters, then this has to be a game we have to try and win without risking injuries or burnout to key players

Correct we need to manage the squad, same team that played the first leg against Rochdale with Kane and Eriksen on the bench should be enough. We have a strong squad and we have capable backups that should be able to dispatch a fucking League 1 team, if we can't get past this lost with the majority of backup players then we may as well give up and I'll question why the manager is managing this club seeing as he's the one that's put the squad together.

Your probably right, Poch will start with same team who started in Rochdale. Hopefully they will do better and we don’t need to bring on the cavalry, but I fear we will.

with it being a lot bigger pitch, the Rochdale team will tire a lot quicker, especially if they have had a shit day travelling down.

what we need to do is start faster and hopefully pass better than we have the last 2 matches. their pitch was so much better than Newports, but it still had it's problems, cutting up and players losing their footing

Am I the only person who always feels a bit nervous when Vorm starts in goal? I realise he has to play some matches (or leave) and that this is the right game to play him in, but he still makes my bottom twitchy.

Can i have a bet on Poch fielding his weakest team, then subbing his best players onto the pitch.
I still think its the wrong strategy.

Poch needs to be very careful with the players so that we don't have an more injuries prior to the CL match v Juve.

was wondering why he brought Dembele, Alli on considering the score, but it must to of been to keep Son, and Winks a bit thresher to use off the bench v Huddersfield on Saturday
