I think Jenas and the whole team could do better than Hudd in the same line-up.

Also, Jenas wasnt poor yesterday, we dominted the game and that's enough for CM.

the starting CM pairing is set, not sure why it gets drudged up every week. big game against a top prem team, not a league 1 cup rival. bassong is fine if Ledders knee isn't up to it. it would be nice to have Pav available. Lennon CAN'T be out for the season,... can he? FUQ, FUQ, FUQ, FUQ,...

Are you suggesting that Spurs with THudd starting and lying 4th in the table would be 3rd spot or better with THudd out of the starting 11 this season? really?

sorry if I offend, I'm just tired and I admit that all the recent negativity (mentioned by Dougal on a different subject) is wearing on me. I liked it when we all H8ed the @R$E and not Spurs players... :violin:

I didn't suggest that we could do even better with JJ instead of Hudd, although i can't see that problem for some games, but my point of view here I think the team can now finaly use 4-5-1 succesfully for two reasons:

1- Crouch & Defoe partnership failed to impress in MOST games, so i think it isn't that nessesary to use them every time

2- more important than #1, I think Modric & Niko are too good to sit on the bench.

so if we are going to use this type of systems for particular games, then i suggest to use Palacios behind two Midfielders who can defend and attack effectively, and I think JJ could work well with Modric if we used this system, as both are better going forward than Hudd which important once you stick with one striker upfront.

here I'm not bashing Hudd, he is good player, but in 4-4-2, he rarely needs to go foward, as he don't need that much, unlike 4-5-1, the task could be bigger to support the player who is playing behind the stiker.

I think Modric scoring record in that position could improve - like Arshavin or Farbregas with Arsenal - and if we used the right players for this 4-5-1. I think our chances to get results against top four clubs could increase. I could be wrong, but may be right.

I`d go with that team except Bassong for King!

Can`t believe how many would stick King straight back in....atm IMHO bassong is the far strong player.
