The transfer strategy is baffling. It's the main thing holding us back.Dare I suggest that one of the most sensible, if not spectacular, things we could do in January is look to purchase one, if not two, English goalkeepers. It is plain crazy that we use up 2 of our non-HG slots on Vorm and Gazzaniga. This in turn has a very significant impact on our purchases in other positions as we are forced to look for HG players and pay over the odds as a result for players like Zaha. I think the HG factor also explains the obsession with Barkley. How about creating more room in the squad for non HGs by not using them for the one position where our back ups barely play.
It's as if Llorente and Gazza II were brought in to be friendly translators in the dressing room.
